Yea, good thing none of our domestic phones spy on us.

Sounds like you need a different bank, not an improvement to atms. None of that is normal.
Aren't those the same group?
You are absolutely right both that this is an issue, and that it is difficult to fix. The divide keeps growing, and the more we separate our conversations the easier it is for both sides to convince us all that it's the other party that is the problem.
I went back and was looking at the early days of Fark just to see how much things had changed. What struck me the most was how mixed the community was, sure there were extremists on both sides, but there was so much more discussion happening in the middle. So many more people realizing it's the system that is the problem and neither party cares about the people.
They didn't even have to divide us, we were all so willing to do it to ourselves as soon as we could. How do we combat this? How do we talk across the lines and have real discussions again?
I run a small company, at what size do I need to start worrying about treating people respectfully? My belief is companies shouldn't get a pass, no matter the size. Why are we ok with it happening at all at this point? It's not 1960 anymore.
That's to help you remember the names.
You are thinking of a patent, which protects a process or way of doing something. Copyright protects creative works.
Pay for the service or you will become the product. Kagi is more than worth it, its so nice to be able to find what I'm looking for again.
I save way more than I pay for Kagi because it doesn't give me sponsored results and other garbage trying to make me waste money.
I just glued my seashells to the toilet, two on the seat, one on the tank. Works a lot better than you'd think.
You either pay with your money or by viewing paid content. I save WAY more time than the $5 is worth to me not having to dig to find real results. It's ability to surface actual product reviews instead of page after page of amazon affiliate links has saved me hundreds of dollars. I felt it was crazy to pay for too, the free trial immediately changed my mind. You don't know how bad you have it until you see how good it could be.
A lake doesn't empty in a day even after the dam bursts. This will take time, but they lost a sizeable chunk of their mods and content creators, the users follow the content they like. Lemmy has grown to a point now where it is starting to get noticed and the press around reddit continues to get worse. Stay here, keep making content, keep telling others how to join. This can happen.
Someday, you will. I believed the same for decades. Now I believe in a future where you get to be the real you.
Isn't that OSO instead of SOS?
Lol, read that as RoughRoManMemes and thought it was a scooby-doo meme spot. It was not.
Taking ALL of the paths was never really an option though. Celebrate all the new paths that opened because of the one you chose instead of dwelling on the ones you didn't.
She said nothing about making it better.
Unfortunately there is no separation of hatred and state.
Yea! It always seems to help me remember them.
This comment is why more devs should understand the impact selling a game fairly can have on their bottom line. I'm close to 1k in myself, maybe its time to buy the dlc.
Pop! OS lets you try out a tiling windows manager as well without having to fully comit to it right away. Once I got used to it I loved it, so much easier to set up an efficient usable display layout.
Everyone has their own opinions. I tried a ton of different distros, the tiling windows manager in Pop! OS was the feature that I couldn't move away from once I adjusted to it. The OS just gets out of the way and lets me work, and my efficiency is up.
I don't have extensive experience, but I have been using the tiling in pop os consistently for a year and have really found it to improve my productivity and oganization on tasks I need many windows open for. Its not perfect and I'm starting to consider looking for options that give me more layout control, but was an excellent first option. It has a toggle right in the task bar to switch between windows or tiling, but once I spent an hour learning the keyboard shortcuts for the filing, the windows mode just feels so slow to set up good layouts in.
Probably easier to learn a few commands than it is to switch distros though.
It may never really "die". Digg still exists, MySpace still exists, aol still exists. It will just slowly wither, the user base will get worse and worse, and its value as a resource will diminish. It's not about reddit anymore, its about getting good people to come here.
Could we run a water line through it from the water heater and use it as a supplemental water heater? At least we would be using that energy for something then.
How has HRT affected how you feel on the inside, appearances ignored?
We don't have to care though, paying attention to the sales numbers doesn't affect them. The game sells or it doesn't, and you are only going to affect that number by one.
Thank you for sharing. So much of your story sounded very familiar. We are not alone.
You make a microchip, and then you just tell people it's edible, simple.
If you are getting annoyed because so many of your users want to migrate, maybe you should consider migrating instead of demonizing your users?
Nah, they have just been mocking us the whole time, knowing we were fucked.
Biden's allegedly not a conservative though.
Your experiences are really resonating with me, I feel like I'm at a very similar place I'm my journey. It helps me a lot hearing you are feeling so many of the same things and share so many of my concerns.
My wife is very supportive, but also was completely surprised and overwhelmed by it all. Hopefully it gets easier to find outside support, but it's so hard to feel comfortable reaching out.
Sometimes I feel so alone though, and it sounds like you do too. We should talk, it would probably be good for us both.
Outside of invasive anticheat, everything I've wanted to play has worked, and often better than it did in windows.
When your listing is written in a way only fools fall for you avoid the hassle of people that know better wanting to return things or complain. It's the same concept as email scams.
You are making a lot if assumptions there, and a lot of factors go into those numbers outside if age and easy of getting a license. Not saying you are wrong, and it certainly is something we should be addressing, but this doesn't prove your point.
Check out Kagi, paid search is extremely worth it. Stop being a product to sell and start being a customer.
In addition, who decides "importance"? Currently importance seems very tied to profitability, and knowledge is often not profitable.
And this is why I choose beehaw. A well defined set of ethics that are actually followed is way too rare.
