Spez is such an ableist fascist who is so delusional in his own ego that all the lawsuits and low valuation of reddit will most likely come as a shock to him.
Oh damn guess I will migrate to lemmy.ml and use that until I find out if lemmy.world defederates or not. (Edit turns out it is run by tankies and they are federated with lemmygrad.) While I may or may not stay on lemmy.world depending on if we federate with meta or not. I will no longer suggest Lemmy.ml.

lemmy.world, lemmy.ml , lemmy.xxx, lemmy.whatever, etct… + hundreds of clones. Is each of these a Reddit by itself containing many subreddits inside it?
Sort of but it is all connected so if you view all you will be able to see all the lemmy.insertname that are connected kind of like /r/all but it includes other lemmy sites. (Think of it like crossplay between playstation and Xbox if that helps.)
Does that mean if someone in lemmy.xxx/c/jokes posted something interesting that I wont even see it because I’m signed up in lemmy.yyy/c/jokes ? It will still appear in (all) regardless but you can also search in (local) if you want that specific version of /c/jokes
That is quite a weakness of lemmy compared to reddit. Can I post on lemmy.yyy if I signed up for lemmy.xxx or do I have to sign up for each of them? No you can view and comment on other instances

How can I see all lemmy posts in one place? I can’t believe no one has found a solution to this yet and just let hundreds of clones post repeated things. Also how is each moderated? Is lemmy.yyy moderated by sensitive snowflakes who ban anyone who cusses or offends anyone, while lemmy.xxx is ran by racist nazis? How does this work? Instances can block other instances aka defederating think of it as one country putting an embargo on another. For example we have defederated from a maga instance and a tankie instance.

I will have to check that out. I tried lemmy.ml but found out it is run by tankies. So I deleted my account there. Lemmy.world are trying a wait and see approach which I think is a bit naive giving metas reputation. But at least they are against Tankies. As for kbin.social I have given the dev the benifit of a doubt since it is one person who works hard on kbin and most likely has not had time to comment on meta. I have faith that he will do the right thing and defederate from meta.

When it was just reddit gold and it was just for server costs I thought it was okay, but they had to make a bunch of different ones as well to the point they lost all meaning.
Oh wow It makes sense that the coffee beans are from the seeds and can grow from them but I never made the connection. I wonder if that means you could plant store beans that you roast.

I am proud of Lemmy.ml for defederating. The second I find out if kbin social or lemmy world defederate or not I will just move to the other one since I use both. (Edit turns out Lemmy.ml is run by Tankies and also allows federation with lemmygrad.)
