Please invalidate their patent, and somehow get a version that I can use in Firefox.

You mean you don't read the billions of lines of code contained in all of the open source apps that you use? Shame, shame... :)

Firefox really isn't slow.

Runescape's fandom wiki has long been abandoned, and the SEO makes it horrible to constantly have to scroll passed it when looking for the official wiki results. I would vote that they get a time machine and never use Fandom in the first place. Barring that, I'm torn between my sticking with Fandom until it gets worse, and just cauterizing the wound and switching to wiki.gg now. wiki.gg has by far the least-intrusive ads (which I only really see on my phone when I somehow get shunted into Chrome).

I don’t like any screens in my car

I thought I didn't either until I got a car with a built-in backup cam. Extremely helpful, and I feel vulnerable in a car without it.

I have a 2016 Mazda 3, and agree. I don't want a BS touch screen. I want intuitive controls that work without me having to look at a screen. The knob control is amazing.

It won't affect your daily life, and if it does end up doing so, you can't really have done much about it. Better to enjoy life. Go have coffee with a friend, find something to enjoy each day. Take a weekend road trip or camping trip and enjoy somewhere.

I don’t need a million cameras and sensors around my car, if I have good sight-lines.

While I agree with your earlier point on more technology not always being good, I disagree on the point of sensors and cameras. A backup-camera and sensor can tell me about approaching cars that I'm not aware of/cannot see physically. Additionally, I'll take extra reminders of cars when switching lanes at highway speeds.

My wife and I have unlimited data plans, and we listen to all our music on YouTube. Without a sub, you can't turn the screen off. Ads are also not an issue on mobile/the TV when you have a sub.

I disagree. YouTube offers nothing without the content creators.

While yes, they depend on the creators, many of those creators would not make any money without a platform like YouTube. I don't like the price raising, but YouTube stores your videos for free, and makes it easy to monetize content.

I'd say the problem is really the lack of tactile feedback. A touchscreen requires your eyes to use, while a dial with blanks just requires your touch to skip past the blanks. It's not impossible to memorize how many services to skip past, just made worse.

Seems shopped.

2016 Mazda 3 does indeed have a touch screen, but not really, because like you said, can only be used when stopped. Knob control otherwise, which works fantastic.

My USB 3 port got to the point where it couldn’t hold a cable (not lint or dirt, the tiny little bit that holds the cable firmly got worn down)

This is the current state of my S21. I only used the usb-to-aux adapter a handful of times, as I ended up getting a BT headphone pair because of the hassle. I think whoever manufactured the USB-C jacks screwed people over.
