What an absolute cunt of a human being.

It really is time for people to start realising that religion of all varieties has no place in modern society.

Half Life. Final boss fight. Not enough ammo and I couldn't be bothered to go several hours of saves back to replay and conserve ammo.

I take a timed, twenty minute nap. Under the sheets. Undressed. And just let me mind wander wherever it wants. I've found that generally I don't often fall asleep but am just on the cusp when the alarm goes off but I feel more rested from that than when I wake in the morning after a 'full nights sleep'.

Yes. 7 years. I stopped because I was a horrendous binge drinker. The first year was the most challenging but after about 18 months I was able to have a non alcoholic beer once in a while to take the edge off. I would say I get the urge maybe once or twice a year now but it's more of a 'Oooh, that would be nice' but I know it's a slippery slope back if I do have one.

Overall, much happier and I wish I'd stopped sooner but I can't change the past.

I'm apatheistic when it comes to if there is a god and/or gods and I actively dislike all organised religion. Religion has no place in modern society and causes so much suffering. It's time has been and gone.

Has there been a replacement for The Trove? Last time I looked all the links following the take down no longer worked.

I wouldn't necessarily say I am enjoying the internet more but I am using it less, especially the doom scrolling but to be fair I've hardly used much since April and have been watching Star Trek and reading since April instead.

I've noticed an improvement in my mental health overall and I really like how Beehaw operates Vs Reddit with the more polite discussions. Definitely has a positive impact.

Nothing. Out of all the 'friends' I had on there, only a handful were ones that are irl mates and I have their numbers. We text occaisionally.

The demo was great fun.

Would scrapping gender splits in sports and base catagories on weight work?

I honestly do not know and don't like sports in the slightest but it's a question that has come up while discussing things with my kid.

Senuas' Sacrifice. Absolutely great game and one of a handful that I have completed. Which is a bad record seeing as I've been gaming on computers since the late 80's 🤣

I've always found Faith No More do absolutely spot on cover versions.

Not many for me as I've been off gaming for a while.

Star Trek Infinite.

Gord.

Manor Lords.

Booze, weed and pills although pills were a rarity, weed became habitual and booze was infrequent but overdone when I did.

Can't kick nicotine it seems though and I don't really care.

I most definitely agree. I really want my 3.5 back as I do not like wireless ear buds, too damned fiddly and I know I will misplace one. Give me a £20 pair of House of Marley and I am good to go.

BSG was such a good show and they covered some pretty controversial topics (The occupation episodes especially).

I was however very disappointed with how it ended.

Amsterdam. I've been many times. Yes for the smoke but mainly for the ambience, architecture and museums.

Paris. I lived there for a year and would love to go back, explore some of the areas I didn't get to visit and revisit those I did. Oh. And eat the best pizza ever from Pizza le Coq on Rue Travwrsiere

I've not played any car games in years but I have fond memories of Outrun and the 1st Gran Turismo.

I tried watching an hour long video yesterday on YouTube. So many ads. So today I shall sort out a rip of the video I think so I can watch stuff uninterrupted.

From the article "The trial will not start immediately and is expected to take several years."

Is there an ELIF version of the instructions? Do I need to install all the things linked on the page? Just some? Just one?

Bands that have one point or another been played on repeat depending on the album.

The Almighty

Alice in Chains

Soundgarden

Pearl Jam

Puscifer

Cult of Luna

Clutch

Tool

The Puscifer live albums that released during lockdown and Slayer - Decade of Aggression

In terms of having zero conciousness after death then yes. In terms of everything else dying with me absolutely not.

I believe the one the mods created is startrek.website

Come on over

There was one called F.E.A.R that fits the bill
