“When the president does it, it is not illegal”

This has been a long time coming and the presumption is that he is allowed to until that is somehow challenged.

Not just an official act, it’s explicitly a constitutional power which is given absolute immunity.

I have bags of davidsons English breakfast and earl grey, both are good

More: that palette was hard coded and the actual in use palettes were even smaller subsets of the system palette to reduce memory demand

The dolphin team is unironically a group of some of the best software engineers I can think of, solving problems outside the scope of basically any standard industry practice for free and getting results

It’s still significant because being demonetized kills a video in the algorithm and even if the claim is reversed you don’t get that back

They’re jealous, dogs actually protect and serve

The only real complaint I have with helldivers is the controls are a little muggy. They put out a polished product with good options that isn’t so paywalled as to be difficult to make progress with but still gives them a revenue stream to keep the live service, which actually adds value beyond “play the game”, running.

I bought a 7900xtx and have been VERY happy with it.

The poster commenting on mobile homes forgets that he’s not saying that all houses can’t move, just that if any houses can’t move, the windows must not be a factor

Diogenes would have fucked that dude up

And that’s an x post facto

They don’t want to remind anyone of that

They’re outright stating the account itself is transferable if you are entitled to it, but that some content attached to the account won’t be, depending on EULA and transferability of individual software licenses.3

If conservatives were susceptible to irony they’d have all been gunned down by now

I remember having a cd player that could play mp3 cds in my car, that was great. Music for hours with no skips or having to swap anything

“Simple” and “aesthetically pleasing” aren’t mutually exclusive!

Yeah a game engine saving a studio hundreds of thousands of dollars or more per episode on lighting, comp, rendering, and set building or travel costs to shoot on location is not representative of the license fee paid

Interest rates and depreciation make that a losing bargain, better to get the utility out of it now that the trade in is low and interest rates are high

Actually in a lot of white collar crimes, it does (mens rea). Having to know the law is for poors

Have the police tried just working harder, or perhaps pulling themselves up by their bootstraps

Would phoneticizing it as “aw” help? American English pronounces “thought” as if you added a t to ‘thaw’

Saying it’s “o” makes it sound like you mean it to be pronounced “oh”

Maybe they should blame it on the rain

To be fair to Clinton he was clarifying on the timeframe intended by the statement because tense matters, e.g. “is, but at the time in question or is, as of right now” because English can definitely be ambiguous sometimes

Pihole also has a docker distribution, so it’ll also run easily on “appliance” NAS solutions with minimal effort

Rip polish dog, gone but never forgotten

No, that’s still subject-verb-object or at least adjective clause-noun depending on how it’s read (it should have a hyphen in that case but stuff like that gets left out a lot)

Also the laptop gpus tend to have less or “worse” memory for a variety of reasons (lower resolution screens means less need for VRAM or processing powe, lower power GDDR, lower RAM clocks, etc. That 85% number works in more than just straight rendering throughput

Uniforms for me weren’t explicit but more “polo shirt and pants” so it was less a uniform and more a very strict dress code - this was also only in middle school so that kinda tracks with when kids can be some of the most vicious about it

Isn’t the OLED more of a gen1.5? It’s mostly a screen upgrade

The concept of “simultaneous” breaks down over relativistic distances too so that’s equally fucked

Most gas stations will sell small gas cans for exactly this reason

This is particularly for people using the engine to write film rending software which gets bought one for a lot of money but low volume, and gets used as a huge cost savings for mid-high end production that can save on lighting and comp passes or even render time.

High volume software(games) probably won’t change much at all.

Or at least that’s what SHOULD be happening.

I don’t even mind the concept of a ghost kitchen, if you don’t want to manage a front of house, fuck it, do pickup and delivery only like so many pizza places do, or run a delivery only brand on top of your existing brick and mortar to avoid contaminating expectations between the two, that’s fine, but just like everything else it gets labor exploited to benefit the owner class by running a dozen “restaurants” out of the same kitchen

Ordinary wheel-cutting can openers get used wrong - they should be cutting the side of the can and not the lid, with the knurled wheel flat and pressed against the rim of the can.

No sharp lip, and you don’t need to fish a lid out of the can. Downside is you can’t use a lid cover to “save” the contents if you don’t use them all.

They’d probably want to charge the victim if they weren’t already dead for causing an early termination of the pregnancy

Ironically this joke is good but not a “laught-funny” joke so it’s not great for standup, especially when you’re already bombing a set

I always win too but i end up feeling like I lost

Honestly I think this is more on Apple for using “os x” for two decades
