Ive been thinking about customizations like that while working on it. I want localization, so everything already has right to left support. I can use that piping to help w moving arrows.

Yeah, following along the active PR for the site’s API closely :)
Rn using homegrown one based on their DTOs. Using a scrapper. Just so we can run a small scale private beta. Has help us get a lot of the core functionality in place. Currently the app is looking pretty good.
Budgeting to get an Android device so I can test it myself too ;)

Yep, much easier on iOS. For Android I'll prob pick a Pixel.
Like using an app but you can't hate on it if anything is broken lol. Instead you have to submit feedback/issues so they can be addressed. But also, could just be new ideas in the form of feature requests.

@ernest I've been working on a 3rd party app for kbin. I'm gonna be running a beta test within a month or two. Would love to know about official API support, seems like you're pretty darn busy. For now I'm working around that and cloudflare protection but not sure how that'll scale eventually heh. So just an FYI.

Great points! Maybe not so much merging into a single thread then. Maybe a tab view that lets you swipe between other posts of the link. Could have the header show the community info and rules. Could help users find new communities. Just spitballimg tho, lots to think about here 😜

EDIT: me not going w Lemmy was due to devs. I still think it’s a viable platform for the fediverse, especially with all the instances out there besides theirs (and being open source). Kbin being completely separated just felt like the right choice for me when picking between the two.
