I'm unable to find any other source that confirms this, can anyone help?

can't seem to find this in the megathread, is this a safe site?

tbh I've never heard of that program at all. Could you share the link?

Maybe you can just install a pirated copy for them?

Yeah, Newpipe is a lot better option.

tbh i would just pirate and block network

does no derivatives mean i can't press "fork" in its github page..? lmao that's pretty anti-foss

Damn its gone now.. I really think we need to backup IA. Contents frequently disappear because of copyrights..

Not really though, more like if you need open source drivers. Nvidia cards with the proprietary driver work great on OSes like Illumos (solaris) or FreeBSD, Linux on X11 where no other card works properly.

One of the members and I used to chat on Matrix some time ago. I didn't encounter much issues but he had an awful experience (android/Windows, encryption related things and minor glitches on the client such as when syncing) that he refuses to move to Matrix unfortunately...

"I Die at the End"

I'm a Slackware user, it does what I need without interfering and I can customize everything to my needs, no need to be forced to use systemd dbus pulseaudio and all those stuff.

i don't think you'll be able to run a proper linux distro with mainline kernel on it, better get an sbc like orange/rock/raspberry pi/odroid.

being korean this is pretty embarassing lol

I'm sorry but isn't that 1377x?

I also run a personal wiki, but instead of MediaWiki I chose DokuWiki as it's much lighter and uses plaintext instead of databases for storing information. It fits me well and there are plenty of plugins as well.

Seriously no reason to use it over win10 enterprise iot ltsc 21h2 other than the cpu scheduler in intel 13th gen

damn, be sure to take a footage once lol

Looks great. Though we'd prefer selfhosting as of now. Thanks for the info.

You mean the programming language?

I just download from whatever site's available on the megathread..

wait you can still change ua with about:config? how?

My understanding is that someone with port forwarding can find one without, but not the other way around. I enabled port forwarding for a while (without VPN) and my upload increased a lot. Though I'm a bit scared with my IP being linked to it so it's off for now..

I just press C-d and create a bookmark.

IRC is what works for me, but others don't seem to be, mainly due to inline image previews and easy attachments..

PGP encrypted e-mail works regardless of the provider btw.

Maybe a Palm Pilot would do :p

slackware, freebsd, netbsd

if it was never public/forked i guess it's alright..?

Get it from F-Droid, I'm personally using Newpipe with Sponsorblock and it's great.

I like it, but I would prefer a local program to do this, or something like a userscript... ik firefox readermode does this but i use seamonkey and don't have this kind of thing, so I only disable image and javascript (css when needed) which kinda gives me a broken layout

rdp over tailscale

Xaw3d programs on Motif desktop.

Seems like I'll be going on a setup pretty similar to this. Thanks!

I usually analyze apps using apktool (some are obvious), and install on the phone and block the app's internet connection. Not sure how it works for your device but I'm able to block it in Settings on LineageOS 18.1.

which channel/server is active and good for this sorta stuff?

10 years ago I ran a Debian chroot inside my Android after rooting and that still works, no need to run a KVM (mostly).

You're right that XMPP is federated as well and Matrix can be non-federated but I've heard some people had trouble with the Synapse server chugging resources despite not using federation.
