Airbnbs/rentals drive up the cost of housing.

Fuck.

That’s the fun part. They’ve made it so the windows don’t break now either. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6tnEDH1HfD0

Definitely!

Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi won five NBA championships and was an 18-time All-Star, a 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, a 12-time member of the All-Defensive Team, the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), and a two-time NBA Finals MVP.

I think that it’s fairly safe to say that nobody uses a gaming laptop on their lap when gaming, particularly mouse and keyboard players. I only use mine when I travel for work, and I bring a proper keyboard and mouse with me.

That said, I do occasionally use it on my lap. When not gaming, the heat produced is pretty low and it works just fine. It also has small intake vents on the side.

You know, I was using my iphone 15 the other day and was extraordinarily bothered by its thicc bezels. Thank god apple is innovating solutions for problems like these.

Fantastic reply. I’m glad to see civility with internet strangers.

Lol, someone is cranky because they didn’t know what moonshot meant.

I suppose I should specify that this is from the lemmit.online server. Now I’m wondering if the entire server only exists to copy Reddit content… in which case, there’s a little egg on my face.

However, I still think that it’s lame. It also underscores some issues with lemmi, in that it has more subscribers and appears to be more popular than some actual communities that you can engage with. I’m sure I’m not the only one who subscribed without realizing what exactly it was…

Alright, done ranting. Carry on! 😊

I was wondering why we skipped ddr6. Thanks for clarifying. 😊

lol, I took that as you going to the aquarium to grab an eel and let us know its strength instead of relaying a fact that you learned there.

Different dude, same state.

I can believe that they didn’t add 420 million to it…

midwest.social gang here as well. I don’t think there is really a best instance though. Midwest.social works for me, because I’m…. Midwest.

I’ve been taking it for a few months. Doctor is gradually increasing my dosage and I’m up to 40mg once a day.

I’ve noticed that I can concentrate on complicated problems much better, and my scheduling and time management have greatly improved.

I haven’t noticed any side effects yet, but was a bit nervous about some of them. I had a friend who it did wonders for, and then he had a bad panic attack and his doctor took him off of it.

Fingers crossed that things stay good. I haven’t tried stimulants, so I don’t have much to compare it to.

their military

I don’t know why everyone is losing their shit over this. Do whatever makes you happy.

Do not want.

For me, my cad software was always windows specific. I think they have Linux versions now though.

Gaming is the other reason.

Go team venture!

Yeah, figured that out shortly after posting and commented on it below. Still don’t like it, and I believe that it reflects poorly on Lemmy as a whole if it’s showing up in the main feed. Just my $.02 though. 😊

Now I’m super curious. All of their comments have been removed.

Try googly eyes?

Did you mean to type “off this reply”?

Did this actually damage the tank? Thermite or something that would penetrate the armor? Or was it just on fire on top?

Lol @ purrkoring

You’re not wrong, but to be fair it didn’t seem like something I’d need to research since it just showed up in my feed, and it still seems like a rather lame thing to do when building a community. To each their own though, if people want to read Reddit on Lemmy…

This is what I came for! Party in the zuccerback!

I should also add that the gesture control on Sony is almost worthless. To turn the volume up or down a significant amount, you have to swipe up or down like 20 times. Half the time it ends up reading one of the swipes as forward or backward and skips to another song.

I’m not sure how I feel about toilet seatbelts.

Recently picked up an Anova precision oven, and it’s fantastic! No need for the big ol’ oven anymore!

What about the pig? Did it get his old one?

Is that the USB logo under his eye?

You sound fun

I just now saw your response. Thanks for the reasoned, thoughtful reply. I by no means meant for that post to be a personal attack against you, and hope you didn’t take it as such. I can definitely see some value for the communities that you mentioned.

I think that the freedom here is definitely both a blessing and a curse. I worry that requiring too much of new users will hinder adoption, and I really want to see the Lemmy community grow. I don’t think there is a way to change that without changing the fundamental nature of Lemmy though…

Anyway, thanks for being awesome.

Your second point is exactly why I got on the beeper waiting list ages ago. It has been a game changer being able to text from my pc for the last 6 months or so, and I’m hoping it comes back… mine currently isn’t receiving messages.

Super cute and wholesome. Glad for you both of you, and cracking up at your username.

I haven’t had the same experience.

Which one is Mike?
