Reddit is a now a marketing/customer relations platform disguised as a discussion forum, and has been since it got big long ago. Hundreds of bot account post nonsensical bs around the site for appearing natural until it's their time to defend a corporation with some anecdotes. This is why smaller fediverse instances are important.
Say anything critical about a company on a popular subreddit, and there's a horde of accounts repeating and upvoting the companies talking points. especially if the company has its own subreddit.
"I hate elon musk but… here's why it's actually good thing" "I hate apple but… " "I hate trump but… " "I'm not a fan but… " "I'm not a conservative but… "
Trying to appear as neutral as possible while defending every negative attention against the mother ship.
Thanks. Glad to help out. Like and subscribe, and don't forget to hit that bell button so you don't miss out on my new comments.
Peace!
It seems they are cutting corners, literally.
This is why ChatGPT needs to provide sources and references. but since it scraped things indiscriminately, that'll lead them to legal trouble. There's a services like perplexity[.]ai that uses internet search plugin for ChatGPT? and lists sources. much better if you want to check the validity of the things it spits out
Google Search, Adsense/Analytics, Android and Chrome should be broken up.
It's feeding the same evil
yea. it already had more than 2000 MS DOS games back in 2015
it doesn't live up to his expectations while being made by someone else on their free time. This mentality is rampant in opensource.
Is he going to contribute, not likely
is he going to donate so they can work on it, also no
is he going to vaguely ask others to make an app to compete with commercial companies, Oh yesss
apple should have had this fixed long before
not if it was intentional. I mean apple bends over for authoritarian governments around the world. This could easily be used as a state surveillance apparatus and casually "fixed" when discovered down the road as a "bug".
Didn't US use to condemn countries when they get authoritarian and ban Facebook, whatsapp or Twitter during political unrest citing freedom of speech, communication is human rights or some bs. Now that Tiktok reigns, yanks can't wait to ban it citing political unrest cough cough national security concerns.
oh, how the table… hypocrites.
Also CCP bans any international apps from running in their country so fuck em too.
It will be fun to watch these lying propagandist assholes fight each other.
Why don't you use that freedoms to create something that doesn't involve raging online. Your "freedumb" doesn't work on private platforms. I thought right wing numb nuts had that figured out by now.
Youtube, Facebook, Twitter has been suspending and banning users for petty or no reasons forever. Now they have a problem? gimme a fucking break. Censorship has always been a thing on these platforms. And this guy isn't special.
Always the victim… geez
ya, they should break out Google and Chrome or Android or Analytics. This seems like a nothingburger.
requires all devices to have the same vulnerability at the interface
Tell me you don't know shit about tech without telling me you don't know shit about tech.
But, my god, Steve jobs would laugh at how easy his marketing techniques made dumb people feel smart.

For a populace that's dumb enough to elect a con man as a president, eat horse dewormers, you don't really have to make it any more complicated when you want to frame someone. Most of them don't even have reading comprehension of a 6 grader.

"yeehaw, alien hunting time"
"look there, WMD"
"Sign me up, war crime time"
Rest of them
"Thank you for your service"
Easiest way is to use packet sniffing. but they could be set-up to only send data at random intervals, which could be hours, days or weeks. so you're best bet is go through the source code by extracting the extension file and look for any links, domains or mangled code which may be encoded with something malicious.
good.

This is the same drivel that people and "analysts" were saying when the sanctions started. And look what they've accomplished in this short duration. They just have to eat a part of the market, even if it is inside their own country. There's much more to the market than just 5nm chips.
. If China’s aggressive response to the export restrictions are anything to go by, they’re not there yet
But the restriction set on China were so fair, right? Could it be because they are confident. no wayyyyy, that can't be.
I mean fuck the CCP but there's some serious copium going on.
Search and ads are their bread and butter, Android is there to get you personalized ads. They're not going to give them up as defaults.
They even mess up split screen when you choose a different launcher. that's just a dark pattern to make you use google more
good for you. for the rest of us, stop cramming in US politics in unrelated threads. k, thanks
“This is textbook Chinese Communist Party behavior - promote PRC (People’s Republic of China) national champions in telecommunications, and slowly squeeze Western companies’ market access,” Gallagher, a Republican, told Reuters
So US banned Huawei first. Is US communist now?
And I'm willing to pay tree fitty for iPhone 15. take that.
This is not your kindergarten playtime where you set the price and pay it with fake money. Shove that crypto up yo…
I am willing to pay if i must
of course bud, we believe you. 💯
USA was built on ulterior motives so there's nothing new. WMDs, genocide and false propaganda are all on the table. It just depends if the country allies with US interests. Saudi Arabia? free to use slaves, anyone else? they're going to feel what freedom feels like. War crimes? You ain't seen nothing yet, my boy…
Excellent use of the word, my friend.
Use Flutter on VSCode. much lighter
Probably because Apple worked together with the Chinese government? Where do you think Taiwan is shown on an Chinese iPhone or where it gets its censor list?
Apple is after money, everything else is secondary. So why would they ban their lapdog? They're doing so now, probably to replace it with a homegrown manufacturer.
complete randoms could share stuff for free
who do you think opts to put ads on their videos. Google doesn't force anyone to monetise their videos if they don't want to.

US sanctioned the ICC and got away with it, what makes you think the Russian war criminals won't?
hmm, you're from US. nevermind…
it's easier to create multiple accounts on fediverse than on mainstream social media websites. Then just upvote your own posts with the bots.
are you 14? People have a lot of reasons to archive their communication: forgotten conversations, random details, family, memories, relationship, business,
But I can understand why an edgy teenager won't have any of those.
why did you link hashtags to a random website?
edit: your website
it's strange for them to specifically choose the light prefers-color-scheme instead of ignoring it completely. So if a website has a dark default interface with an optional prefers-color-scheme:light
, it will use the light interface ignoring the default.
Seems counterintuitive
The developer of Tasker has released so many videos on how to incorporate ChatGPT into the Android Phone, even replacing Google Asaiatant without buying a new phone. Tasker is what, $5 and ChatGPT $20 a month?
Also if you use Firefox Beta, some extensions that use LLM like ChatGPT already work. I use one to summarise text and articles.
Seems like more of an ad rather than an article.
