Unless you pay them more every month. Not everything needs to be a subscription and they'll keep doing it unless people stop buying.

Looks like he's going to try a subscription model for Reddit and if that fails then just removing the app altogether.

Awful takes on the issue. They did not even try to show the protestors' side. No mention of the astronomical pricing of the API or that the main Reddit app is subpar compared to the third-party apps.
