The app advises you to turn your phone over so the screen is facing the bed. The screen turns off but the game is still running. It also advises you not to place your phone under a pillow or blanket to prevent overheating.

As long as the forums are easily searchable then this is a good move. It looks like the subreddit is in read-only mode so we haven't lost any knowledge yet. That data should be preserved elsewhere, just in case the subreddit becomes unviewable.

If you are looking for side-by-side Tetris without the garbage pieces, the mode you want is Score Attack which Tetris Effect has two variations of (Modern Tetris style with holds and classic NES style Tetris). You play until someone tops out and whoever has the most points wins.

I believe the Puyo Puyo Tetris games also have this mode and a bunch of other versus modes, but most of them lean into sending garbage pieces.

At least Xbox One support was longer than the original Xbox support after the 360 release.

I need to get around to finishing Hi-Fi rush. I did play through a couple of smaller surprise releases recently. McDonald's dropped Grimace's Birthday but that took all of 20 minutes. The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog was another one.

I played Grimace's Birthday on my Analogue Pocket. It's surprisingly decent. I wish there was a mode that focused on getting a big combo similar to the OlliOlli daily challenges.

I top my popcorn with Lawry's garlic salt. Tastes great on actual corn too.
