I don't even remember the stories, but those illustrations were awesome and are among some of my earliest memories of being unnerved by an art style (along with the legendary Scary Stories and the Wizard of Oz series from 1900 with the W.W. The dramatic colors were mostly the bigger leaves, so once she was trimmed down a bit you wouldn't even guess she was anything special (aside from her amazing smell of Captain Crunchberries)

I've been on a banana kick for a bit and this is a nice twist on it. I've had more than my share of banana strains with tempting strain names that don't taste like banana in the slightest, and this is one of those where you can smell the banana in the DNA when you open the container.

The flavor isn't strictly sweet & fruity - the creamy banana comes thru straight at the beginning (like my fav Banana Punch) but it's got a more complex flavor at the end that I'm still trying to peg. It reminds me of Kush Cake + GMO or something.

You can find high quality dabs in any consistency, so a lot of that comes down to preference. And in terms of effects, yeah they're all pretty similar whether you're spending a lot of little (excluding the extreme ends of the spectrum).

But if you care about flavor (the main thing Im picky about), there is quite often a difference between the $10 gram of sugar wax and the $30 gram of live resin.

In that sense I've found the sweet spot is mid range live resins/rosins (with the highest terpenes) but more expensive does not necessarily mean better dabs, and rosin is also not inherently better than resin (despite what the prices and marketing often imply).
