It's quite a massive change and significantly impacts usability in a lot of cases and it also makes Discord no different from any other app.
If they had just kept the server list in the direct messages view this would've been way less worse.
Ah yes, a text post with informative links... This must be Reddit!
What could possibly even be your problem with this post?
You're paying to use their license, piracy or buying the media physically is the only way to own it.
It's not one or the other, you get both words and actions.
, and .
Lemmy IS awesome, that doesn't mean we can't want it to be better or criticize it. No one said Lemmy isn't great.
Brave has never been a super safe browser, they've done some shady things. If you need Chrome just use Chromium with some settings and plugins.
I've never seen someone who actually genuinely needed Chrome though.
You have serious issues and world view problems to even begin to think things like that about people.
who's that
Also delisted in parts of loads of EU countries like the Netherlands and France.
Some people don't want to spend two minutes making whipped cream and then cleaning everything they got out to make it, or they just don't have time.
It's not hard to understand in the slightest.
three paragraphs and yet you didn't say anything lol
Then don't answer, it's quite simple.
I'd like to point out that they said nothing about it being a bad thing and that all they did was say it was Chinese-owned, hence making your comment a pointless attack of nonsense.
You're on almost every single post I see, it's quite scary.
You buy a used car?
Anything is better than Starlink, Starlink is just extreme useless pollution for something that normal ISPs can achieve.
The government needs to step in and make internet more of a utility like in like every other successful country.
people pirate enough -> they fix their platform -> people stop pirating because platform good again -> platform becomes awful again -> repeat
this_is_a_meme.mov
I wish it was more simple.
The official matrix.org server is completely stripped down and removes a lot of features, and Element as a client is nowhere near as good as anything else.
Element X (with the sliding sync support) does fix the massive issue of absolutely horrifically slow syncing.
None of Matrix comes anywhere near the levels of usability Discord has and nor does Element, Discord's server-chat model is unbeatable in this aspect.
The Source game engine was completely unmatched in its time.
This comment is just an extreme lack of understanding of any tax system there is, which is wild.
Could you be so kind to log off and stop commenting?
They didn't do any of those things and apt upgrade does not lag on any system I know of.
Are you telling me they sold multiple millions of the Steam Deck??????
I don't blame them, ever walked when it was dark out? Headlights are blinding and I'd freeze too.
are you okay?
I guarantee you the box and everything else also showed the legs being on the side.
CPUs can have special hardware accelerators for stuff like this, and you'd be surprised how powerful our little phone CPUs are and how optimized stuff like this can become.
It's not a bad thing that Firefox is doing little things to attract a broader audience, luckily you don't set it up very often and sync is there to use.
I'm currently visiting my SO in the US and the way roundabouts are used here is terrifying! I've seen people just cross straight over them and I have yet to see anyone but my SO use their turn signal on them, not to mention how long people wait to get on the roundabout defeating the point entirely.
The turbo roundabout was confusing the first or second time I was on one, but after that it made a lot of sense and was quite simple. A lot of them even have guiding arrows and signs beforehand telling you where to go, these roundabouts genuinely make it so you basically never have to stop and can just continue driving like there was never an intersection.
It's genuinely awesome.
That's where the keyword imagine comes in.
You don't need internet connectivity to play these, unless you mean downloading them initially. I'm sure they'll make an updated physical with these maps in it at some point too.
In a lot of European countries we are now introducing "turbo" roundabouts where you can't even go all the way around once, and they work way better and amazingly.
That's definitely not what happens to most people, a lot of them don't have time to cook or have never been taught how to buy proper food because of the failed education system.
I can't imagine playing a first person 3d voxel game on a tiny screen, that sounds like torture.
Getting angry or complaining about how someone calls their significant other and gatekeeping when it can be used is something they should've learnt to get over a long time ago.
People always underestimate how awesome bidets are when they haven't tried one.
That's exactly what I was missing: giant distracting icons that flash on a comment I was going to read anyways!
I'd love their perspective on this and the actual messages sent as this isn't very useful standalone.
