What is the best way to make sense of the alternative federated communities?

I did like some of the small details in 15 like the pictures, though.
So currently I am using kbin mostly as a PWA on my phone and it takes away the navigation part of the browser. But this is good to know for future reference, thank you!
I forget about Vernintide! I haven't played Darktide; is it worth playing?
I'm out of the loop, what is windows doing as it relates to gaming in this case?
Thanks!
Thanks for the link!
I completely agree about the migration. I guess it would make some moderation a little more tricky - like if a user got banned, can they migrate? I guess migration would only be through federated instances? I would imagine that a migration would involve carrying around some data about corrective action that had been taken previously?
I don't think those are insurmountable questions, though.
I haven't ever used a game tracker but I would be open to it. Do these sites typically keep track of games you are currently playing and if so do they have a section for "games that I come back to and play sporadically?" Like Civ games I will spend months without playing then play a few games for a month.
Like, you don't really "beat" some games.
@Protoknuckles This is embarrassing but I am not super great at playing with randoms when it comes to coop. I might have to give it a try though because I've heard a lot of good things about DRG!
Is not buying at full price just a general tip or do you have experience with the game? (Not sure if there was a demo or something)
Regardless, it looks really interesting, thanks for the suggestion!
I liked the logo already and I also like the bird.
What were the two you didn't like?
I think it is very plausible that the numbers only appear to be back to normal. I agree probably nothing will change but at the very least I am not using reddit any more - and I feel like I have seen a similar sentiment from other users of Lemmy/kbin.
Seems like the day 1 patch is pretty small. It doesn't affect me but glad to know it's playable without the patch because I have friends with slow/no internet.
What are Navidrome and Tailscale for? I've heard of Jellyfin (but never used it)
That looks super cool! Not OP but thanks for the recommendation!
