Honestly, that's too subjective a question for me to answer. There are other options but I won't say they're drop-in replacements for what you're used to. Each alternative comes with its own investment in time and effort, like setting up and learning new apps do. If that set-up works for you, rock and roll!
You're right. It is kind of a genuine question...kind of. Without having to explain basic social skills to you, Buster Keaton was a comedic and cinematic genius on the same level as the great Charlie Chaplin, whose contributions were unfortunately not given the proper attention while he was still alive and when Hollywood was ready to "make amends" he died shortly after.
Yes, it was quite inconsiderate of him.
In any case, that's why it's not inconceivable to have a dedicated lemmy community for Buster Keaton.
