That's hilarious. Can't say I'm surprised by the hostility -- the articles from The Verge seem to be very favorable towards the protestors, third-party apps, etc.

Would that account for edited comments, as well? I see others are talking about comments that they edited (not deleted) being restored to a prior version.

I've also noticed this 'stale' issue with the 'Hot' sorting option. Is this a bug or is this an issue with not enough people posting/interacting with posts?
