There is no good reason a home computer from the past fifteen years should have security patches withheld because the manufacturers want people to throw them away and buy and brand new ones.

Honestly, a bit of both. It probably gets more hate than it deserves but there's a lot of pointless change just for the sake of changing things. It's better than Win10 on a Surface, touch screen and pen support have improved. But beyond that, I don't really see a reason to jump to it until they force the issue by ending support for 10.

They're not late. I've been using Fire Sticks for years and Amazon has been working hard the whole time to shove more and more ads all over the UI. The main row of apps gets smaller with every update and more and more ads are plastered around and between them to try to sell you more shit you don't want or already have.
I managed to jailbreak mine before they locked them down and install a custom launcher so they're actually usable, but the stock UI is god-awful. I'll be replacing them once the next round of Apple TVs come out.
Most people shouldn't buy a home printer at all anymore. Unless you're a crafter or work in a field that still uses lots of paper (i.e. law) they're not worth it.

Short answer, maybe, but go through your installed apps first & get rid of crap you don't use. Even if you still decide to do a factory reset, no sense re-downloading garbage apps. Your phone is still modern enough it shouldn't feel slow day-to-day so it's probably one or more shitty apps causing the problem.
Because then the ISPs would have to respond to changing customer preferences and spend their own money on infrastructure improvements to meet the new demand.

Humans are terrible batteries/fuel cells. And Orpheus said the machines had fusion power. It makes far more sense that the machines were using humans for computing, not basic metabolism. It's been mentioned that this was the Wachowskis' original intention but the suits made them dumb it down for audiences to understand but I haven't found any direct quotes about that.
An increasing number of restaurants are pulling exactly this sort of bullshit--little 3.5% fees at the bottom of the total check disclosed only in fine print on the menu (if at all) tied to COVID, paying their staff, processing credit cards, etc. It needs to end. Pricing should be upfront so customers can compare what they're actually paying, not snuck in at the end.

Clearly transformative only applies to the work a human has put in to the process. It isn't at all clear that an LLM would pass muster for a fair use defense, but there are court cases in progress that may try to answer that question. Ultimately, I think what it's going to come down to is whether the training process itself and the human effort involved in training the model on copyrighted data is considered transformative enough to be fair use, or doesn't constitute copying at all. As far as I know, none of the big cases are trying the "not a copy" defense, so we'll have to see how this all plays out.
In any event, copyright laws are horrifically behind the times and it's going to take new legislation sooner or later.

I appreciate the idea of laws establishing a right to be forgotten and I think there's still some value in being able to take your data away from certain companies, but there's no guarantee it wasn't copied many times before the original location is taken down.
