Total Sony death.

Isn't that ghost leeching?

Nice honeypot glowie.

The movie at a cinema isn't a regular mp4 file, it's a massive 100-300gb proprietary file that needs a valid license key to even be played back during a specific time period. Good luck decrypting the file or getting the company that issues the keys to the cinemas to give you a key because you're not getting it to play early. Iirc somehow the Korean rip of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie was leaked early and something similar happened with the My Little Pony movie, but those fan bases are incredibly autistic and will find a way.

How do you not know that Intel has they same type of open source graphics driver like AMD? Their kernel module, OpenGL and Vulkan libraries are all free software, only requiring small firmware blobs. That's why Intel 'just werks' on Linux without having to download a 500mb kernel module or have a separate .iso available to download specific to the hardware.

I'd hope 100% of customers don't want micro transactions.

Save your wallet and install Newpipe.

  • overly verbose way to launch them in terminal
  • can sometimess not even respect your gtk/qt theming
  • sandboxing/permission system can lead to you trying to figure out which directory you need to give access to when you want to save file if it wasn't preconfigured
  • uses its own libraries and not system libraries, want to play the hit new AAA game with steam flatpak? get fucked it requires a mesa commit that was merged 8 hours a go and you're stuck on 23.0.4 and can't use the git release.

Flatpak probably has it's specific uses like trying to use one piece of proprietary software that you don't trust and don't want to give it too much access to your system, or most GUI software clients having an easy way to install Discord on your Steam Deck (no terminal usage, Linux is easy yay), but native packages 99% of the time work better.

Now we just need Apple M* hardware that can be bought like a regular laptop or PC parts, but that's never happening sadly.

It's lightweight so it doesn't require the higher specs that bsnes needs (and all of the accuracy improvements you will not notice) and is more compatible with ROM hacks too. IMO it's still the go-to SNES emu.

I'm not watching a 38 minute long video, what's the game?

I'd just want more package maintainers for Arch, some people maintaining 1000+ packages is crazy and would take a load off of them.

buy skin

skin gets removed

money stollen

Yeah this sucks but:

  • if you buy it you're giving Ubisoft money

  • you should emulate the gamecube version if you don't want to set it up

  • if you want to tinker pirate the gog release

Giving Ubisoft money is not a good reason just to have the game and playtime tracked on your Steam account.

3DS is considered retro now? Fuck.

So this is only for the background of the motherboard boot up logo like from Asus, Acer, Gigabyte ect? Not your grub or rEFInd background correct?

Again it's not a traditional video file. Iirc its a series of really high quality unconpressed images being played back at once with audio. The max resolution is is 4k but even the 1080p films can be 100gb. The real knee slapper is when the video's resolution is 4k but the projector is old so it can only output max 1080p.

I know it's not self hosted but why not Signal? Matrix is demanding on a SBC and your family would probably get the 'unable to decrypt message, please re-verify keys' error that happens in encrypted matrix group chats and Element does not have the best UI especially if you want your grandma to use it.

HDMI and DVI-D adapters are easy to acquire and just work, assuming your monitor uses that and not DVI analog, but that should also work too. DVI doesn't transmit audio so you'd need USB audio, Bluetooth or an audio splitter/extractor before the HDMI goes to the DVI adapter.

gigachads use mitigations=off anyways

Does that mean I can finally stream HuniePop on there now?

From's games that were released after Dark Souls can't be considered underrated, aside from Armored Core 5 and Verdict day. Everything else has sold over a million copies and was released to high praise. Sekiro is absolutely not underrated.

Still the same CPU, (which is a gimped 3700x, down-clocked with 1/4 of the CPUs cache) and still with high latency GDDR6 ram which is bad for Ryzen's architecture. The better GPU is just for games that are GPU bottle-necked (like Immortals of Avenium which runs at what, 480-720p?) Otherwise there's the AI fake frames that Sony will market the fuck out of and convince people that 30 interpolated to 60 or higher is fine.

The fact that I don't have to deal with lib32-gst-plugins-ugly/bad/ect is amazing, but I'll have to keep 32 bit libraries for Team Fortress 2 and other online Source games.

I bet if Bethesda had never bought iD they would still be doing this.

I don't want to imagine playing these games with a controller.

The only 6.7 AMD issue (feature) I'm aware of is the amdgpu patch that gets the tdp limits from the vbios so you can't undervolt as much vs older kernels.

Quake 4, bog standard 7th gen corridor shooter and the half way point makes the game slightly more tolerable, just enough to be considered 'good'. On the bright side the lighting is great in darker areas, something that iD Tech 4 games excel at. I don't know why most modern games dark areas look like you're walking downtown at 9pm, when it should be much darker depending on the game.

In the capcom data leak which was way before that, the company was looking to lock down their games to prevent modding because that apparently ruins their image and is considered 'cheating'. The nude mod at the tournament definitely accelerated their actions, but they always had that plan in mind.
