Pokemon on Gameboy. Physical books and comics. Sketching.

Shampoo bottles while pooping.

It's still a hot mess. Helped my wife set it up for developing a Java webapp with Tomcat and it's such a mess to set up, compared to IntelliJ that I could just set up a Springboot easily.

I'm thinking about either Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth or Warhammer40k: Rogue Trader.

However, I wouldn't be playing them anytime soon with my backlog. So, I'm likely to just sit this sale out.

Me too. I do remote work. Our rural home is comfortably big enough to accommodate 5 people. It's cheaper to share bills, no rent, CoL is cheaper in the rural area too.

My baby bonds well with my parents too.

It's the only game from FromSoft that I've ever beaten. I find QoL much more bearable compared to DS1. Parrying allowed me to stand toe-to-toe against bosses also. No more rolling around.

A lot of spicy quotes I could steal.

I'm going to ask ChatGPT how to prepare a garotte and then I am going to strangle you with it, and you will simply have to pray that I roll the 10% chance that it freaks out and tells me that a garotte should consist entirely of paper mache and malice.

Just press windows+d bro.

I forgot that the button exists.

It's for reentry. Normal satellite create alumina particles.

All the satellites which re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere burn and create tiny alumina particles, which will float in the upper atmosphere for many years,” Takao Doi, a Japanese astronaut and aerospace engineer with Kyoto University, warned recently. “Eventually, it will affect the environment of the Earth.

You have to adopt Emacs and show her that she can even play Tetris on it.

You can host a bitwarden vault yourself. They open sourced and audited. So, trustworthy that there's no back door somewhere to some degree.

Which project is this? So, the project owner did this?

Ah, it's Turbo

Buy him a cheap PC and introduce Factorio.

It would teach them logical thinking and teamwork. Could be a nice platform for programming also.

But you can still be infected by virus by other means like opening PDFs or accessing a malicious link, no?

Joke on me. My company is full remote work, but add more meetings because we have to communicate live somehow, even though we can work asynchronously. Less focus time for me.

Not defending the CEO, but selling 2k shares mean nothing for a CEO. I believe this would be a small percentage of his bonus.

I used KeePass for years. Now I switched to BitWarden since it's open source and audited.

Think of that Coyote and the roadrunner cartoon. If there's a graffiti that looks like a tunnel the coyote may run into the tunnel based on vision alone, but a secondary sensor will help telling that there's a wall.

Irl, If the vision failed to recognize that there's something on the road, at least a secondary sensor will protest that there's something on the road.

Quoting the article.

But still, if the technology is open, then someone may design some compatible replacement hardware. Imagine some makers community rig a replacement for the blind without carrying about profitability.

One piece is an anime that I think should be consumed in manga form. Too much running in the anime even I could flip thought pages and dialogs quickly.

Since I don't see anyone mentions it.

Tunic. The shortcuts are so cleverly hidden that allows you to easily break the sequence in your next playthrough. The manual translation felt just like back when I tried to understand japanese game manuals that come with game boy cartridges.

Chain of Echoes. A one man RPG game with a unique combat system that has great quality of life.

Especially for a pet lover or a parent.

My daughter fell asleep as we were reaching a destination. I could just leave the AC waiting for her to wake up on without causing any noise nor carbon dioxide.

On Godot subreddit, some one complained that the pixel art course, which is worth $50(Zenva's default price) and included in this bundle has a poor quality and it's obvious that the instructor isn't an expert in the field.

As more solar panels are installed, more material and maintenance are required. They deteriorate over time, and require large physical areas.

I guess at that point, each panel needs to be extremely efficient to limit the space, extremely durable, made of cheap materials, easily recyclable into another panel.

I would argue that some code test questions can be solved spontaneously, but they are limited to easy to some early medium questions, or patterns that are common enough.

I guess this is more common in non FANG companies that don't have to filter out candidates just because of the sheer number alone.

I used to work with a fraud detection system for a payment gateway. The system will automatically flag payments from any Russian and some countries as fraud automatically. This was 4-5 years ago

Yeah, he's mostly first prime react now. I mostly just open his description to jump to the article he reacted to.

Whenever he stream his coding, he went out of his way, way too long also.

But they don't have to compile shaders every time the game is launched. Only when I install a new content or the first time I install the game.
