Hey lady don't threaten me with a good time.

We need this law here in Canada. While they are NOT ATM shutting down copper POTS, they are no longer selling it to consumer's from the main companies. Some smaller ones will offer it, but if there is a problem with the SLAM in your area for DSL, you're told "deal with speeds or switch to copper cable or fiber". They will not replace the SLAMs

Same here. I don't have anything important, and my contacts are in a vcf file whenever I need it.

Microsoft claims it's offline, but how sure can we be? I smell what the rock is cooking.

The first problem is that he's a Linux YouTuber. Too mainstream for me.

No more windows for me. I've been back and forth with windows 11 and Linux but been on Linux for awhile. Last windows I used full time was 7

Your kids are not going to college but at least you got some sweet synths.

Jesus Christ. Why...

Wait for them to find a way that everyone will run out and buy 1k+ laptops now. Disregarding privacy, most people only need Chromebooks nowadays.

Let be honest here, a majority of users have their mobile devices backup automatically. They will see this in the same way....

Bye bye windows

Norton OS. It's just full of trials to their software.

It is true though...

Who said the SG was passing laws.

We have them here in Toronto. Some of them have been removed, but there's about 3 near me.

You would be basically making virtual machines at that point.

Yes I'm aware. I've been down that path, and sadly there's no escape no matter what tor this or VPN that you use with a privacy centric app. We can however minimize what is being data mined.

Jesus failed the final boss, and when it was game over, he used his game shark for infinite life and noclipped to end game screen.

I would argue that it does actually.

It reduces the access to heathy food and health products that have a long-term impact on your health

Who do we turn to for a browser? Not chromium based I don't trust google codebase.

Kirbo will step in with Luigi with a cross.

Arm is not any better than x86 when it comes to instructions. There's a reason we stuck to x86 for a very long time. Arm is great because of its power efficiency.

Oh lol good. The only issue I have with Linux is laptops and battery life. It's a YMMV situation as some have same or better battery life, while some it's alot worse than windows even with tools like tlp and stuff.

here in Canada, generic cereal is NOT the same as name brand.

This, they are getting kickbacks from laptop OEMs because people will now need to buy expensive computers again. They were stagnating there for a while finding a way to charge people alot who only need a PC for basic tasks, and now they will be buying a laptop basically the same price as a entry/mid gaming laptop. Now you cannot use price to say "oh windows laptops are cheaper than macs". That's out the door. As I said above though, disregarding privacy, Chromebooks are what most people only need for their day to day tasks, and arm based ones last super long on a single charge.

isn't that what they are researching with psilocybin? I could use that big time to reset my head. I have severe health anxiety.

Lol butthurt Iran. I'll make sure to let boys know in Angus 🤣

goto horny jail

If you don't need winapps/battery life start looking into Linux

nice TC plug. One of my favorite channels and one of few reasons I use YouTube via new pipe and download the video. Let me also recommend Asianometery and Plainy Difficult.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I am talking about assembly code. I will again state that I am pro-arm, and wish I was posting this from an arm laptop running a distro.

Uh...there is alot of lesbian women who are Pino.

I think it comes down to what you're willing to sacrifice. If I can do banking that's the hard line for me, so JS at the very least.

Until fiber or celluar can have the same reliability as copper, then we can switch.

well, the only solution for that is to use a password generator based on length and complexity. I have used it once and am considering using it for all my accounts with each its own password. I live in a safe place so having them written down is not really an issue.
