There is some Rust code that needs to be rewritten in C.

Lemmy users should produce original content, that's how Lemmy will become popular, also instances need very good search engines indexation

I started using Lemmy since September 2022 I think, but I rarely open it, two weeks ago I was permabanned on reddit for report abuse, then semi-unbanned, so I deleted my account, and now I'm starting to use Lemmy actively, there are a lot more servers and users now and I found a new nice server.

Use -site:reddit.com if you don't want to exclude sites that mention reddit

Thank you

And anyone can distribute it for free as long as use different name and logo.

I'm not a fan of proprietary things like Discord, GitHub, Reddit, etc

I don't speak spanish too, it might be spanish

I don't speak portuguese but I understood it

When I create a Lemmy community it won't be discoverable on other servers until someone on the server subscribes, how do you subscribe if you don't even know it exists? I understand why posts are not sent to servers that have no subscribers of the community, but why doesn't it at least send the name and description of the communities to other servers?

Every single day.

They recognize I am attempting to access this website from a country belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) including the EU which enforces the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and therefore access cannot be granted at this time.

Bulgaria

I suggest -site:Reddit.com instead of -Reddit.com

Bluesky is part of the fediverse. Isn't it?

Follow or bookmark users. Option to always open posts in new tab and disallow opening in same tab. Ability to run my own language specific instance, which allows usernames and community names written in other writing systems.

You should not use -m, you should write commit body!

3 Billion Devices Run Java

sopuli.xyz was my first instance because it was the biggest one that didn't require registration approval, but after Lemmy became popular I switched to lemmy.world because sopuli was defederated from lemmygrad.ml

Lemmy pull from mastodon if someone from mastodon mentions a user or community of lemmy instance

Personally, I did understand most of the movie, but not the last part.

I often copy things and paste them into google translate to translate them into my language.

This happened to me on the first day of this year because of grub

I use, but I believe biometrics should be used as username, not as password.

My favourite instance is lemy.lol because it uses 0.19 rc version, has short domain name, and nice UI theme, and that's why I choosed it for my account

Capybarawiki, Copybora

You are very good at guessing

Die Hard and Six Degrees of Celebration

accessed from firefox and brave on arch linux, apps on android

lemmy: accounts: 9, each on different instance, but only 3 am logged in, apps: Boost, Jerboa

mbin: accounts: 1, official, i barely do microblogging, i just want to follow users, lemmy dosn't support it, so I use mbin for that, previosly used mastodon and firefish, but both are too similar to twitter, i hate twitter's weird structure, also hashtags are most stupid thing ever, i feel like mbin/kbin is somehow better for reading posts and comments

I guess shell languages can't do this:

export EDITOR=case "$OSTYPE" in
  linux*)
    nano
  ;;
  freebsd*)
    ee
  ;;

I'm a bit of an exhibitionist and I'm glad that Mark is watching.

You are right

I want webpages to be open source, not compiled. That's why I dislike WASM

Who is Walter White?

Fediverse is more than ActivityPub, it's also Matrix, Nostr, Bluesky

Emoticons are too personal, emotional. Lemmy and Reddit are community oriented

Mastodon, Firefish, Mbin, Writefreely
