For like the last 5 years his strategy just seems to be to announce his crimes outloud so they don't seem like a big deal to his supporters. Then from there his supporters do the heavy lifting and claim that prosecuting him is only politically motivated so we shouldn't prosecute despite overwhelming evidence straight from the horses mouth.

I think I read that they had permission from the city but the landlord themselves didn't approve it.

I'm guessing they never opened up the API for chats. 3rd party app users never saw chats

Pretty soon they'll be calling slavery an unpaid internship.

Hard to argue Tesla at fault when clearly the driver was impaired and at fault here.

Mastodon has a bigger hill to climb because twitter depends on known personalities. Joe nobody has never been focus of twitter. On reddit, nobody cares who the OP is. It's all about the content shared on the platform which by it's very nature is going to be from outside sources. Reddit eventually got its own original content, but at it's core it's a link aggregator with a nice commenting system.

Dude, most us left reddit because we loved our app. Apps are generally more refined than websites and offer better notification interaction.

It's better than reddits mobile site but native apps always win if the dev puts in an effort to make it good.

this looks like it’s actually from their normal search with the labs feature turned on for ai. Bard is separate but uses the same tech.

I think he has the most popular youtube channel (or at least for english). The basic gist is him giving away absurds amount of money or expensive things for a silly task. Like going to the store and buying anything that the contestant can fit in a triangle.

Kirkland is at the very least competitive for pretty much everything really.

Probably would have won in 2024 if trump simply accepted defeat and went away like every other losing candidate. He could have run as"trump's ideas but more stable". As it stands the base he needs think he's the guy who prevented trump from stealing the election.

They're cars like any other. Some problems and some good shit. At the end of the day they built a car with a reliable powertrain and made it perform well and they still are the most efficient with range. You can see the thought they put into making it good at being an electric car. They also understand the need of a reliable charging network.

On the flip side they have poor build quality are not very reliable overall. Their reliance on touch screen is a matter of preference. I think they go overboard with it and would prefer more hard control, but atleast the software is intuitive and responsive.

My current fix is just subscribing to a lot of communities and using all less. The other option is to uncheck nsfw but that of course blocks non nudity stuff too.

This meme has something for everyone

Maybe they can do something similar to reddit which is a popular tab by default. Basically just all with the nsfw and fringe stuff removed.

I get that. But instead on Lemmy were freely giving away our data to literally anyone that ask for it. That's the downside of the federated platforms. I guess with the fediverse you're at least not tying things to your actual identity. Not sure if threads allows for anonymous accounts like Twitter.

Maybe I'm missing something, why would threads show up on Lemmy when it's more like Twitter or mastadon?

I don't know if new plans still come with YouTube music but mine does. That plus ad free YouTube on device.

There's some tools take them easy to prep. I have a tool that's just a metal loop and it's amazing. Basically you just slice the watermelon in half then scoop out in either sphere shapes or long strips.

I have that labs feature enabled, this is what I get when I prompt it. Here

No. It seeded the fediverse. More will come tomorrow when the app stops working.

Reddit went from an untouchable site without any competition to something that needs to appease users or risk sending them to competition.

true, but reddit was not user friendly at first either. It's one of the reasons why 3rd party apps got so big. In it's current state, it will not compete with reddit. But expect it to improve overtime. Also, some apps are already solving this problem. The biggest issue is onboarding is very confusing. There needs to be a UI that just automatically suggest an instance and give you an option to change it if you're an advanced user?

I agree but I can also ok imagine a world where the website remains similar to how it is now with 3rd party apps actually making it user friendly for the masses. Memmy already seems to be getting close to an ease of use similar to Apollo. They're also attempting to solve the issue of a very confusing onboarding process.

true when it comes to broad search terms, but google should bring lemmy to the top if you type in [search term] lemmy just like we do know with [search term] reddit.

Lol. Good luck finding a lawyer to that that case. I'm with the mods but I assume this a joke that got out of hand.

To be fair, it worked well right before reddit cut off api access. This will probably happen everytime reddit does something stupid to drive away users. In other words, it could happen every two week based on how spez is lately.

It only notifies you if the air tag is without ite owner. If this wasn't the case I'd be getting notifications left and right for my wife's airtag. Instead I only get notifications when her phone is left behind but her tag is with me.

I've been on iOS for 4 months. These are the things that make me miss android. My iphone got stolen from hand last week so I had an opportunity to go back to android (and save a ton of money) but decided to continue to ride it out on iphone for a bit. I should stop looking at android stuff so I don't get too jealous.

Is there any Foss stuff on iOS without jailbreak?

I understand but the concern but your device is reporting the location anonymously and you are not tied to the report.

I wouldn't say ruined but great diminished. Sporting events, especially when it comes to the finals or Superbowl. Only rich people can afford it and it completely changes the atmosphere from normal fan experience.
