Yes, because they understand what a threat to their own existence Trump is. They are doing it out of self interest.

David Duke just likes Jill Stein's views lmao.

I see a bloodninja reference, I upvote. 🤷

Probably Libertarians in New Hampshire.

That's so far my favorite part of the community. I pretty much exclusively browse the "everything across all instances" thing and a handful of names have become really recognizable over the last few weeks.

You're missing out on seeing them getting roasted for saying tater tots are bad. 🤷

I'm going full conspiracy theorist and saying that's a tot-hating bot farm.

Also, I made tots last night and they were amazing.

Yeah, you still have to draw in all those values through lookups or just set the variables manually but if you keep getting a failed send or that shitty 500 error on a cloudpage, the try/catch block prevents it and will actually display the error. Should look something like this:

%%[ your AMPscript block goes here ]%%

SFMC is Salesforce's red headed stepchild. The product has been neglected into the ground and they keep shoehorning random shit into it then neglecting that, too. Ad Studio, Social Studio, and Interaction Studio were all different things they bought and slapped a coat of SF branded paint on then let die. It is such a weird product but EVERYONE has it and it gives me pretty good job security knowing how to make it function about half the time.

Screenshot how many downvotes you get when this all blows over.

That my dad cared about or respected me. After a family dinner, my wife asked me if he always talked about me like that and it just kind of clicked. Things like telling my kid, "If you play too many video games, they'll melt your brain like your dad" or "why would anyone pay you that much" when I told them that I broke a six figure salary. She made me realize that this wasn't normal and I didn't have to sit there and listen to it just because of who he is.

I haven't spoken to him or really any of my side of the family in almost two years now. Good riddance.

Salesforce just gives me the other kind of CTE.

I'm 100% going to try this, but I have a feeling that it isn't going to work in my application. Salesforce Marketing Cloud uses some pared-down old version of Transact-SQL and about half of the functions you'd expect to work just flat out don't.

The joys of using a Salesforce product.

8/10 Server-side JavaScript

7/10 Ampscript

3/10 SQL

There is something about SQL that I can't get to click with me. I can run basic queries and aggregation, but I can never get nested queries to work right.

All of these also assume I have access to documentation. Without documentation, all of them are like a 2. 🤷

Wrap the Ampscript in an ssjs try/catch block and debug all your shit on a cloudpage. ;)

Everyone that works in SFMC for an extended period of time hates SFMC. Or at least has a love hate relationship with it. I think Salesforce is the most worthless company in existence and John Mulaney's anti-SF rant at Dreamforce brought a little light to my life.

I very rarely actually use Ampscript anymore. Almost everything is done in ssjs in my instance. Thank fuck I'm not consulting anymore and don't have to deal with other company's stuff.

I have been really, really enjoying the reworked Wayfinder. The story is ass but the visuals, gameplay and music are all awesome. The characters are likable, the build variety is pretty great, and the devs seem to be pretty in touch with the community lately. I never played it in its MMO state, but for $20 it's a real win.

I think the 1.0 release comes out in a few days, too!

I migrated over to Lemmy a few weeks ago when the piece of shit Reddit app refused to load any posts but continued to load ads. I have found this community to be far more interactive, kind, and enjoyable to discuss pretty much anything with. I haven't found a reason to return to reddit at all.

If I want to read Spider-Man, I would probably post the question "where should I start with Spider-Man?" on something like Lemmy and I'd get a dozen different responses suggesting different comic runs or artists. That alone means I'm not getting the full Spider-Man story.

I can go pick up volume 1 of One Punch Man and know I'm at the beginning of a cohesive story.

Pretty much anything by Trigger is going to be worth at least a watch through at least once, usually multiple times.

The League of Legends show, Arcane, is some of the best animation I think I've ever seen and season two comes out next month.

FLCL and FLCL Alternative are both amazing, I couldn't get into Progressive.

Mob Psycho and One Punch Man are wild rides. I think OPM is better, but that's because I'm bald.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is an absolute hoot if you can see the humor in all the over-explanations and goofiness

I'm about to start Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction tomorrow. I'm going in blind, but I really love Inio Asano's other works. Goodnight Punpun changed my life, but really, do not read it if you are already depressed.

I keep editing this because I keep remembering stuff.

Frieren is amazing and makes you feel incredibly close to these characters.

Delicious in Dungeon is Trigger, but a different Trigger than something like Kill la Kill or BNA. It's slower, comfier, and like Frieren, makes you feel SO close to these characters.

Sounds like Salesforce acting like Salesforce.

Oh shit, that's a really good one. I hate that I instinctually grab my phone and start doom scrolling. Getting rid of Twitter was a big one that helped for me.

Biggest of lmaos from me, dumbass Paula Deen lookin hag.

My piece of shit, $1800 Vizio TV does that. I can't even default it to a specific input without clicking through an ad.

Psoriatic arthritis flared up in my entire body that has made it impossible to sleep or even really exist for the last week and a half.

It would be awesome to just not hurt for a few hours.

My wife sat down and started watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure with me on a whim about half way through part one and she's a bigger weeb than I am now.

^Paisley, ^which ^is ^a ^fractal.

I always feel like I'm going to miss something important, but honestly, there is nothing important happening that I can't just hear from someone else. I really want to get to the point where I wake up, throw on some clothes, and go for a walk and leave my phone at home. I think if I can do this through the fall and winter, I can do it forever.

You can run down some of the clock by making yourself a good breakfast every morning! My wife got into a real tamagoyaki kick and I've been making her one pretty much every day and it makes me pretty happy to be cooking again.

Are you my wife? Since we discovered Pluto, our TVs are constantly flipping between America's Test Kitchen, MST3K, Antiques Roadshow and Jersey Shore if we're feeling especially rowdy.

There's also a Mr Rodger's Neighborhood channel that our we leave running in the mornings for kid and dogs when we leave hah.

What a cunt.

I almost instinctually downvoted that.

This is a good one that I don't think ever really got advertised at all. Caught me by surprise.

Try doing puzzles on Chess.com or playing Tetris. Things that make me think on the fly really help with anxiety attacks.

I just found myself picking fights with locals on the opposite side of the political spectrum and it got bad enough that my handle was named in two different defamation lawsuits. 🤷. Luckily decent opsec made me harder to find IRL, but both cases were laughed out of court anyway.

Diet changes are one of the major things I've been working on that has made the last little bit rough. I've been cooking a lot more, primarily oily fishes which I love, but I did cut out the trash sugars and caffeine that I use as a crutch.

Almost daily mackerel and salmon has been awesome though. Saba shioyaki is probably my favorite comfort food and I never realized how easy it was to make. I'll have to give the actual fish oil pills a try though, thanks!

I'd kill Internet to it if my wife didn't leave on random free streaming shit like Pluto to play for the dogs when we leave. The steps it takes for me to get to streamio are nuts. Boot on TV -> close ad and navigation to Fire stick -> listen to auto play ad while piece of shit fire stick loads UI -> finally get to watch what I want.

I could probably find one with a little effort but the fatigue is crazy. I can barely keep myself awake during the day and can't sleep at night.

I think it's starting to calm down a bit now at least.

🎶 Nana nanana nanananana Katamari Damacy 🎶

I brute forced myself into cleaning up and cooking healthier meals for myself. It sucks, but if you rinse your dishes right after you eat and put leftovers away instead of "letting them cool" or "soaking the dishes", everything gets so much easier.

If you want a really tasty, filling cheap fall dish that will 100% help a hangover:

Throw some evoo and garlic into a pan and let it go for like a minute. Then throw in a handful of fresh spinach. Then a handful of halved cherry tomatoes. Then two cans of drained cannelloni white beans. Then a cup of heavy cream and a half cup of Parmesan cheese. Salt, pepper and toast some bread.

Buying all the ingredients at once is like maybe $15 and this stuff can be used for anything. I've made breakfast sandwiches with these beans, a fried egg, and some Sriracha on an English muffin.

I've really wanted to start tinkering with rasberry pi, so maybe that'll be a fun first project!

Ooo, I've already read the first handful of chapters of the manga, so I'm not sure if that covers what is in episode 0. Do you think it would have been a better watch through to have it at the end?
