Just thinking of what I've seen recently, this is what I like and why:

  • Gravity Falls: Weird/Fun show
  • The Owl house: Same as above
  • For All Mankind: Cool Sci-fi show about "what if America didn't win the space race and it never stopped"
  • Final Space: Funny space show with some real emotion
  • Hazbin Hotel: Quirky show about demons (adult themed)
  • Inside Job: Another funny animated show, sadly cancelled before 3rd season
  • The last of us: A great re-tale on the game I love

  2. You have a physical copy, but want a digital version.

I hate that I know this now.

Nuclear is Non-renewable, but it's not a Fossil fuel:

A hydrocarbon-based fuel, such as petroleum, coal, or natural gas, derived from living matter of a previous geologic time.

Well what about the roads? Oh and the aqueducts!

The silver lining here is that you'd hope that more people will simply adopt Firefox. It's user share has been too low for too long given how great it is

Before the days of the Internet, a "'magazine" was a big bundle of paper full of articles you could get shipped to your door, sort of like if you printed out a website.

Wow.

When I used to make notes because I don't retain information instantly my boss said "Just don't forget" I exclaimed: "Thanks, I'm cured!" The office got a laugh but it still bothers me that he thought it was a choice

Any scene with older Anakin and Padme. All those love scenes were just cringe

Probably giving them too much credit. If they wanted to know that they probably would have asked specifically "Is the water still running?".

I agree. Wants the point of a decentralised platform if most of it's users are on a single instance.

Plus it's not a good look from a new users perspective if the platform appears down every few hours.

Those looking for an alternative, I suggest Joplin. I exported/imported from Evernote a few years back and am really happy with it.

  • supports markdown
  • can store data on multiple services
  • Open source
  • can fully encrypt your notes

Wait? They did comics?

Just turned 30. I have a house, a kid and a wife. I still don't feel like an "Adult"

Don't they require smart phones to work though? All the ones I have had are all just BT devices which require a phone to do anything beyond tell the time

If your using steam, you can go into game properties and set Proton as the compatibility tool. Depending on the age of the game, you might have to switch versions of Proton.

You can use https://www.protondb.com/ to check the compatibility issues and suggested versions by the community for specific games too.

Win win

Shave with double edged razors. The razors are more extensive (compared to disposable anyway) but you'll save money on the blades.

I bought a razor for £30 and £7 on 100 blades. That was 12 years agoml. I'm 2/3 the way through my razor pack.

I found no difference in how close of a shave I got and while it takes a bit more skill, I got the handle of it after a few shaves.

Let's go all in. I want the old style pirate ships again

I work as a Sysadmin for a web host who sells VPS's. I've helped many people setup domains on their server to cover SPF, DKIM and DMARC passes on a daily basis. Most use these for personal or business level mail delivery without issue.

Are there hurdles to overcome? Sure. But it's not exactly hard as long as you have a IP that's isnt a poor reputation (which as an ISP we help delist and improve). But it's not impossible.

Its more "convenient" to use a third party mail provider just as Office365 since you pass on all that setup and responsibility onto their framework, but it's not hard to setup a decent level of mail service yourself.

Doesn't viewing by "All" show all subs in the feed

I would say "no". Mainly because you can hit the ground harder with shoes on if your running. When barefoot you'll also be partially concerned about where your stepping rather than speed.

Came to say this. Correlation just not equal causation.

Try using this and sent it a test mail: https://www.mail-tester.com/

It'll check blacklists, configuration, DNS and mail content itself for any issues

The issue I have with these alternatives is the compatible apps list is short. You may as well just flash your standard phone with LineageOS or GrapheneOS, atleast you can sideload some android apps on those where needed.

I refuse to use Chrome and I use Firefox for work since 99% of my time is on that.

Got any alternatives to use?

Yep. This is why I'm annoyed the UK is dumping its money into oil and coal fuel sources. We need more Nuclear plants and we should have started building these yesterday.
