I am insanely interested but the apple ecosystem sucks. I use a MacBook for work because it's that or Windows, but good lord do i hate the closed source walled garden. Linux at home ftw.

Andrew Yang is not a serious person that people should listen to. Next.

the only element on Earth cold enough to make an MRI machine work.

I didn't know that elements had a defined temperature. Bang up reporting there, NBC.

Actually the bottomLuks generates most of the power.

I just made this exact switch a few months ago, so, yeah, it happens.

I haven't typed the digits of pi for probably 20 years because it's defined as a double precision float in all the programming libraries I use.

Seriously, this is like trying to bring back the monarchy. Fuck the GOP.

I mean, if buttholes are shooting missiles at boats, I think we're beyond "convenient excuses." Do you want to captain a ship through there by chance?

Never quit when a company intentionally makes your life shitty?

Not only did he change parties, his cartoonishly ridiculous accent showed up out of nowhere. Go listen to him speak before the figured out he could get more votes as an (R).

It would be kinda dumb to force everyone to keep casting back to a double, no? If the output were positive, should it have returned an unsigned integer as well?

Even a perfect sensor will accumulate errors in the nav solution over time because there's no such thing as a perfect gravity model. No free-running INS will ever replace GPS long term. This shit is so frustrating to see in the press.

We already knew how to farm before John Deere; should we have focused away from agricultural industrialization in order to preserve jobs?

Lol fucking internet. "Blocky"

It's not a 2x4 it's a "2x4."

What a shit thing to say. Slightly less healthy people still write songs, hold the door for you, transport food, build things in factories, design new technologies, yet you've decided the world would be better off without them. Fuck you, seriously.

Have you met people in real life? Good luck.

The "born at the wrong time" is such a lame comment and I see it a lot on good old music posts. Do they not understand they live in a time where they can listen to the old music AND the new stuff? Good chance if they lived in that last generation they would have been complaining about how all the Smashing Pumpkins or Pink Floyd stuff is awful and wish they'd been jamming out with Gershwin.

Ok only if you promise to read how mob bosses would never actually say anything, they were just saying something completely unrelated and totally unconnected to the discussion.

My dad, a boomer, passed away a few weeks ago and I can understand why he got a reverse mortgage. He had cancer and knew he was going to die, and he did it to guarantee that my mom has a place to live for the rest of her life since she'll be surviving on only social security and some pensions. But it sucks that that wealth will disappear at that point and us kids won't inherit it. That's ok, we don't feel entitled to it, but that is definitely one way that houses are being snapped up by companies and not somehow transferring to individuals.

You have listed a ton of popular artists who aren't very good at making music that is ground breaking or thought provoking in any way, and since you asked about future rock n roll Hall of Fame inductees, I think you therefore nailed it.

It must be those meddling radical left... Wall st brokers? Who even knows what the jackhole will cry next

"remains liquid at cold enough temperatures" != "the element is cold enough"

Honey smacks other coupon purveyors for substandard grifting.

That's the joke...

I think Divinity Original Sin 1 and 2 are better gameplay wise but the world building and lore in Pillars is unmatched.

It isn't a waste if it provides redundancy and prevents one server from being in control of all data.

What do you mean by "normalized?"

Yeah I mean who doesn't read up to page 630 of the manual and then interpret the lack of automatic 2-sided scanning to mean it won't even do manual 2-sided scanning, despite nearly every scanner on the market supporting that.

You're insane or profoundly ignorant if you think both sides are basically the same at this point.

Read your contract. They get first chance to buy it back, only if they decline can you sell it elsewhere.

Yeah make way for the younger generation like Matt gaetz, Lauren boebert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Ben Shapiro please. Surely once the boomers are gone, our problems are over

I spent a bunch of money a few years ago to get the laser(ish) print+scan+telegram+allthethings Brother MFC-L3750CDW. Imagine my rage when I found that this thing has a document feeder but no way to scan both sides of a document stack. Not even with a manual step in their software such as flipping the stack over and running the back sides through. Infuriating and I didn't realize it until about a year later when I suddenly had to scan a ton of stuff. If someone knows of a good workaround, I'd love to hear it.

This is a Bill Burr bit.

I don't think you'll ever see an INS going months without needing a correction. Imperfect gravitational compensation applies directly to the specific force measurements and those errors are then accumulated twice.

Right? It's awesome.

Come on, linux support!

I quit about ten years ago and maybe once a year I'll get a craving but overall, not really.
