if you wanna tell apart american gen z from gen alpha, ask them if they know what this is:

gen z used these smartboards and the teacher always made someone recalibrate the touchscreen to the projection when it was off

afaik the new spoiled shits all get these in every classroom, they were rolling em out when i was graduating:

at least in places that can afford it. this might be more true in a few years

In high school, I dm'd a guy in my class "you're handsome bro"

His response was something like, "you too man I appreciate it!"

We both assumed each other were straight after that, but like a week before graduation, he randomly tells me he had a crush on me. And when I tell him I felt the same, he was like "damn I assumed that DM was probably only a compliment"

My high school sex ed never taught anything gay or anal. So I knew to wear a condom with my first girlfriend, but until I was a freshman in college (a year ago..) I didn't realize it's important to wear one with a guy too. First gay experience, we'd been seeing each other for a month and I thought I was pretty ready, sock on the dorm door and everything, but then bro asked me if I had a condom and I was like "huh?" And obviously I didn't so he just gave me head instead

For whatever reason I thought condoms only helped in vaginal sex, since that's the only thing they taught its use for. Didn't really know how gay and bi men prevent STIs other than monogamy and a few other assumptions. Part of that stupidity was probably just me being optimistic and horny brained about not having to wear anything

I'm a zoomer and my middle & high school had us do a large majority of stuff on a computer, so my handwriting kinda sucks now

whenever I use pen & paper now, I look at what I wrote and realize I still have the handwriting of a fucking 12 y/o. I also type a lot faster than I write

They want protestors to be quiet and in the distance. God forbid they inconvenience people to get their voices heard

When I was in middle school my brother was pissed at me so he replaced every piece of paper in all of my folders with pages of manga he ripped out of my one punch man book

Mr Osama sir your fired

(some) Americans are so self-important when they mention states being the same size as other peoples' countries lmao. "Why should we have to point to Germany on a map if Germans can't even point to le bigger Montana? smuglord "

It's like, do they feel the same about knowing other big countries' internal divisions? Canadian provinces? Russian federal subjects? Brazilian states? Chinese provinces? Australian states? Cuz the average subdivision in all those countries is larger than the average US state.

And people usually know the most important ones, anyways (Cali, Texas, Florida, NY)

Not that much easier, there's 23 countries not 3 lmao
