This is truly the best way to Rickroll someone. We’ve reached new heights. I like it.

I don't think google is doing that on purpose. Search engines are supposed to remove dead links once in a while. And twitter redirecting all links to the login page, so it's effectively making duplicate results on google, which are removed. I think that's why google doesn't have too many Linkedin results.

No it's just one guy called Dev.

If everyone shuts up about racism, then racism will be worse. If everyone stopped talking about twitter, then twitter will die. It's not the same thing at all. Not even close.

I'll miss clicking Top of All Time in all subreddits. In here I have to wait YEARS before I can find the Top of All Time content.

That's hilarious, so many songs about bodies free falling from the sky and hitting the floor, like rain.

Testing if CTRL+ENTER works...
edit: it does.

Line of vision

Zuck too.

I'm on a tiling WM. If I want a specific feature, I make it happen.

I would have left the trees alone, but removed the grass and covered it with small black and grey stones. That way the trees would still look nice, and the rain water can still pass through the rocks and prevent flooding, unlike this mess. This looks like a business now, it’s not a home anymore.

That was unexpected.

I really like 4th of July. But I wish fireworks were illegal. Why can't everyone just buy a cake or have a house party and watch a movie or 2 and call it a night.

Why pointless?

Cashews. Benefits: heart-healthy fats, antioxidants, essential minerals.

Now we just need to move all content from Reddit to here, so that when you research something on google, lemmy would have the answer instead of Reddit.

It's a video. Or is it a gif with media controls. idk.

The whole website is hilarious. That code finds a random file and deletes it with sudo. I'm gonna run it on a VM :)

sudo rm -rf "$(sudo find / -type f -print0 | shuf -n1 -z)"

Use Tailscale vpn if you want access from outside your home network. It’s super easy to set up, all you do is install Tailscale on the server and client, and login.

Great idea, I posted my own photography work here and people joined afterwards. https://lemmy.world/c/macrophotography

Or maybe it's this guy, Dev from a canadian tv show called The Listener. They called the hacker 'Dev', I'm assuming it's on purpose.

I imagine NSFW subs are harder to mod than regular ones maybe?

I'm mod of !linux@lemmy.world and !macrophotography@lemmy.world in here. I think it's a lot friendlier in lemmy than reddit. That's why I'm glad to be mod here.

Conclusion: I now have a laptop and a RPI running 24/7 🤦‍♂️

Sounds like a win to me. lol

Enabling 2FA should solve that issue, right?

I think so, but the one I had was tiny, and no red spots.

:( how much exactly? here in the US it's $10 for a 500 gram jar.

Thanks! I read it just now, so one person is paying for hosting. Where is the money coming from, we can't expect them to keep renting a dedicated VPS forever.

Yeah they did. it’s hilarious

might scare some people that are not as familiar with computers

That's true.

That's really cool

No need to insult them, they don’t deserve that much hate. they probably thought it was a good idea. Even though most of us think it’s an abomination.

I think I tried Awesome before, I'll give it another shot, thanks!
