Somewhat related, but not really: I hear that Gen Z (in general) are worse at tech support issues than the past couple generations. The theory is that Gen Z grew up with tech that, for the most part, "just works". Troubleshooting issues isn't as common, and isn't as necessary of a skill.

For me it's always, "this is hacky as shit, but it works, and nobody will ever see it but me."

I'm not really a fan of real A-list actors' faces in games. Inspired by real faces? Sure. I know the term "immersion" is mocked a lot, but few things force me back to reality than seeing Hollywood megastar multimillionaires in my fantasy world.

And they're full of spiders.

I think it's less, "We're worried people will flock to Firefox," and more, "We could get in a lot of legal trouble for trying to force everyone onto Chrome".

They're going to steal your NFTs!

Maybe they should say, "don't poison the birds," because that's what you're actually doing.

That's an average of 1 screenshot every 14 minutes, or 102 screenshots a day.

This is why I have a serious account and a meme account. I don't have to see the news all day if I don't want to.

Good composition, but the "enhancement" done by the phone makes it look like a watercolor or AI art unfortunately.

Edit: Disagree? Zoom in on the grass or leaves.

I despise Discord. It's an information black hole. Everything is closed off, unindexible, unscrapable, borderline unsearchable. If someone posts something useful on Discord, good luck finding it after a few months, let alone a few years. Meanwhile, I can find forum posts with useful info from over a decade ago. If Discord the company dies, everything on the platform dies with it. There's no internet archive for Discord.

It has a place as a chat app, but its use goes far beyond that. Some subreddits used it as a Reddit replacement, companies use it for tech support, and entire apps are built around it (eg. MidJourney).

This series was great, and genuinely taught me a lot. Much of it is outdated now, but the comedy is still good.

Also, didn't this series originate on another site before YouTube? I think it's older than 16.

The middle-most guy is seated directly behind a woman at a table. That makes no sense. Also, his hand looks off.

I can't hear "dudette" without thinking of that cringe gamer cleaning video. The word is genuinely ruined for me.

That's .com. I've never even heard of lemmygrad.com until now. I have heard of .ml though.

This reads like a copypasta

It's not unusual to have big stars in movies. There are movies full of nothing but A-listers. It's been the norm since before any of us were born. However, I find there are some big actors where their presence overshadows their character (if that makes sense). I do tend to enjoy movies with smaller actors that I haven't seen quite as many times already.

I want to believe this will make laptops slightly cheaper. However, they'll probably just charge the same and have webcam installation as an option for like $50-100.

Do people think Linux adding BSOD means it will crash more? It just means it'll show crash data differently for GUI users.

I think I've seen this in every meme community the last 24 hours. Are we done yet?

I've heard list-making can be bad because you get a sense of accomplishment just for putting the list together, and not actually doing anything on the list.

You've made the decision to kill someone if you pull the trigger. If they survive, they're very lucky.

There are a lot of children on it these days too.

Hold your breath for a minute or as long as you can. You'll feel your sinuses open up while holding your breath. Blow your nose after.

Ever had someone brag to you about how big of a tip they left?
We get it dude, you're better and more money'd than us. You're not being subtle.

Moved towards him with a phone and wouldn't stop!? He deserves death!

The prank was stupid, but in no way does it warrant being killed. The man just held a phone to his ear and stood near you. Was moving away from him not an option? I assume he had a vehicle since he was doing deliveries. Maybe go to it and leave. Hell, just run away from him if you're really scared.
