You joke but my old FJ Cruiser requires you to turn the key to accessory, turn it off, turn the key back to accessory, open and close the door three times, turn the key back off, turn the key to accessory while holding the odometer reset button for 5 seconds and then it will enter pairing mode for the remote fob.

It made me feel the same joy as pressing the option on my Android phone 5 times to enter development mode back in the mid 2010s but it gets old quick.

Fuck yeah, math, woo!

I find it's going to need to get even more convenient for the general public to be interested in it. Federation almost needs to be a 'background' process that the end user doesn't really need to deal with. Otherwise, it'll be a little too complicated or obscure to comprehend for most. I know it isn't rocket science but we're talking about the general public, here.

Another term that wasn't mentioned yet is 'cel shading'

Using flat colors to indicate shadow and gradients.

How was that a decision not fueled by pure desperation? Who advised this beyond the consulting group that was previously working with Morgan Stanley? Oh my god

Jesus, it's so inconsistent. I suppose that may be beneficial when looking at all of your folders at a bird's eye view but my knee jerk reaction isn't the most positive.

Fantastic work getting this going. I really think if this were to be streamlined, it would be able to convince me (and plenty others) to switch to Linux full time. Seems like something that could be handled automatically given a few parameters but publishing it would be a bitch

Awesome delivery of your story! This is the thing that will stick in my mind and I'll remember it throughout my life.

Incredible story from incredible athletes. It's a feat to do that and, would you look at that, it doesn't diminish anyone else's goals or aspirations either.

Built in sobriety test, how nice!

Been working on a personal project to display my Spotify playing info onto a LED matrix display (with lots of visual goodies) and allow for physical buttons to control playback, lookup the artist on Wikipedia, open their bandcamp profile, and eventually to find what songs they do not have on Spotify.

It's still in its infancy but it's allowing me to work on blending software, hardware, and design all together in a fun, interactive way.

I don't have a TV in my living room but listen to music 24/7 and my wife would like a way to see what weird shit we're listening to.

Will the level 80 "technical fellow" please stand up?

They could've stopped at step 3 but they gave you 8 more steps to feel like a true hacker.

I haven't ever seen a GitHub file that big before in my life

08 Toyota FJ so we likely had the same sequence ✊

Not them but adding it to cakes, cookies, macrons, etc like cocoa powder does the job wonderfully in my cases.

Going off on a whim and gonna say Aguirre, The Wrath of God

Spanish conquistadors getting their shit handed to them so only loosely pirates but pirates in spirit.

If I'm going to be relaying through to people strictly over text as much as I do these days, I better have a way to articulate it with the right emotional range to match my sparkling personality ✨

That sounds incredibly trippy to see in theaters at 6-7. Kinda jealous of your story!

Unfathomably silly

Don't tell them, guys.

e: too late

Sure, but when I'm a cog in a bigger machine I need to prioritize my work being able to be continued by others or else I'll be stuck making every single change on it that needs to be made in the future. The architecture we use to use the same PSD on AE projects and embedded webapps is essential to the system functioning as needed. Many, if not most places follow that same line of thinking and using a separate program that isn't intended for that inner-platform use. It might be kool-aid but it's a problem bigger than what OS I'd like to use.

God, I would love that so much

Broken record

Hot roux + cold milk, no lumps.

And if you're new to cooking, try cooking your food a bit longer than you would usually. Taste it and decide if you enjoy the heavier caramelization. When I realized I should embrace the char, foods like mushrooms became so so so much better.

Thank you for being receptive, good people on this site ✨

Lovely reply; this is not the simplest answer but it's the truth.

Making me nostalgic for Garuda 🥺

Fuck yes, I hope you're being serious!

Absolutely agreed. Something facing the public like this is supposed to be comfortable and familiar first and foremost. Works like a charm if you know what you're doing but we're not able to expect that from the general library computer owners.......

Idk why this killed me

Like, truly, where was legality ever an issue if you were really considering suicide? Maybe that's just my lense

Just saying I love that this in depth discussion about truth and how to best dissect the whole is happening. Helps people to recognize this is a communication that needs to happen and what their own personal stance is. I like it

Museums! I find a lot of free ones here in Florida (indoor / outdoor)

Used to spend lots of late highschool - early college time there with friends when we couldn't spend any more than $3 a day on extras lol

I hate to be pedantic with naming/spelling but it's silly to speak as an authority when you have no idea what you're talking about...
