Purina = Nestle

Just in case anyone doesn't know, Slurms was a reference to Spuds.

Did you really just say this in a topic about this actual thing happening?

Fucking same. I can't stand glossy screens. Matte is the way to go.

The title is in poor taste all things considered.

Check your local library if you don't have a friend with a printer.

Is there some ongoing resource use (on Unity’s end)

Nope. The engine is part of the game once compiled. So all hosting and bandwidth cost goes to steam/gog/whoever is selling the game.

They are just trying to get more of that sweet viral game money.

Damn, I just have regular old ADD. I guess I'm like a CRT or something.

Here, I won't be a pussy.

Violence is never the answer, until it is.

Some people don't know when to stop. What boundaries are. The prankster here found this guy's boundaries. The victim felt fear, and reacted in his way. Do I get to draw the line in the sand where violence is the right answer? No. Judges, Juries, and lawmakers do.

Do I feel personally that this gentleman defended himself correctly? It's a thin line, but yes. As I said in another comment the guy probably ended up in high crime areas on a regular basis and a gun might have been necessary for those situations. So that's the defense he had on him. It's not like we all carry a selection of weapons and deterrents that we can choose from depending on where we are at any given time. We carry what works for the worst situation we encounter.

As a delivery driver myself I sympathize because I have a feeling this wasn't this guys first bad interaction with another individual. If he continues driving, it most certainly won't be his last.

I don't know. I'm a dirty American with Consent-O-Matic.

Here's the github for anyone that wants.

Can't ddos all the instances.

weeeeeeeeeeeee

They had it so right with GPM. I wish they had gave more shits about it. I even paid for that shit because it was good enough to remind me of the old days of using foobar to listen to music.

I don't/can't pay full price for games now as it is so good luck with that.

Patient gamer for life I guess.

Oh they know they will, but they've chalked that up to being cheaper than paying humans.

Who the hell advertises their MacOS software in the console of linux of any type?

Their fries were good as fuck until they ruined them.

I caught a stream of TheSpiffingBrit playing it the other day and I downloaded it because of that. It's neat, but it does take some learning.

They have a lot of broken crap in my library right now. Mass Effect: Andromeda being the most annoying one for right now as the multiplayer in that game seems to be region locked and it's almost impossible to find a match. That's if the ea desktop shit is even working that day.

No, we all think you're dumb for dragging idiotic politics into this.

Some of us think with a rational mind and know it's not all black and white out there.

Speaking in absolutes in this world is the worst thing you can do.

I spent a lot of the good part of the past decade ignoring tech reviewer content because I hadn't been into that side of things for whatever reason at the time. This past month or so I've been binging LTT content as an entertainment source. Ironic how that works.

However, before any of this came to light and watching Linus be an absolute terror on their sets and to the hardware they work with. I've come to the conclusion that Linus' hyper ass needs to be on a leash more times than not. There's been quite a few videos where I was excited about the product they were discussing and then the video ended up going a totally different direction than I had wanted it to, or just a plain old non-content video where everything worked correctly, perfectly, right off the bat. Or they do the most janky solution to a simple problem and it sours that whole video for me. (Or series of videos for that matter.) cougheverything they've done at linus' housecough

All this said, they do seem like good hearted people and I hope they can pull their heads out of their asses and get this fixed. WE deserve it as consumers.

I'm probably aroundish your age and I too remember them.

I still look to Yahtzee when I'm curious about a game that's either new or I'm too broke to buy at the time.

Fuck a * out of * score. Tell me what annoyed you about the game, or what you enjoyed. So much more worth my time than seeing numbers and not looking into why those numbers exist.

Too many reviews just go through talking points from the publisher/dev anyway so they're useless.

At least Yahtzee gets to the fucking point of it all and in short time.

I mean, realistically that's mild compared to what some Bostonians would say if they saw them spell it that way.

Yeah, same. I uninstalled the second I saw that crap. Trying to minimize that kind of junk and yet here we are.

I have one on my seat bolt that is strong enough to hold a tablet for like $20.

I personally don't remember it being that way but it's been a long time since I've used KDE. Like, Mandrake was still a thing when I last used it.

3 new bosses they will keep for the life of the game and never add a new one until almost the very end of the game's life.

Ubuntu derivative

Is one reason.

DE nobody else seems to be using

Cinnamon is easy to use though. Seamless transition from windows to linux for people who don't know what they are really doing. When they get the hang of it, you can do some neat stuff with it.

Cinnamon is also an in house thing from the Linux Mint developers which is why it's most common there. There's a few other distros that have spins on it. Namely Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch, Fedora, etc.

And door cards that change color and handle placement.

See, the trick is to use your imposter syndrome from letting you get good at anything. The second you feel you're doing a good job, are you though?

Crazy idea, but read the article. He's a delivery driver there to pick up an order. Probably enters high crime areas on the regular and kept it on his person where it would be most needed.

I read this as "We'll let the community fix it."

Roblox doesn't run on Linux at the moment because the devs have blocked proton and wine. Which, well, pisses me off because I want to put Linux on my daughter's PC.
