not only England

Maybe limiting internet usage is enough, spending extra time on a linux pc with no internet might just be an opportunity to learn something.

Sounds good, is there any reason why their assets should not be used to compensate for the damages they are causing?

Why not?

You need to take into account that instead of not voting, you could have voted for the other candidate.

Simple example:
7 voters, 2 candidates, A and B. 3 will vote for A no matter what, 4 oppose A. If 1 voter doesn’t vote, there will be a tie of 3-3. If 2 don’t vote, A will win 3-2. If everyone votes, B will win 4-3.

Even though the wording in the OP makes it sound like that, they didn’t mention anything about their own feelings. It might just be an honest question.

I wonder if that’s how it works. Looking at lemmy.world’s timeline, there are only 3 posts after this one that are below 10M, the last one being https://lemmy.world/post/9999924, and the next one https://lemmy.world/post/10000121.

Are that many posts getting deleted, or are they somehow counted in a different way?

Not using 14th amendment is an open invitation for dictatorship.

That argument only works if what you want to achieve is not a dictatorship.

Better than orange can still be worse than ok

After reviewing the documentation, it’s clear as day that GitHub designed repositories to work like this.

Sounds like they wanted to find a problem but it turned out to be a feature.

that makes sense, i was thinking self defense purposes but wondering how effective that would be if you have to deal with the case first

It may have the right, but does it have the guts?

No matter how often you ask or what the answer is, you likely won’t be able to tell if it has actually been deleted anyway.

Why not Lemmy?

looking at some of the replies, i wonder why people still post anything there

If this is beyond the capabilities of a user, maybe that user shouldn’t set up remotely accessible cameras either

wayland, because tiny animations like a loading spinner don’t use enough cpu to make fans spin

The roles are reversed, the equipment stays the same.
