I have pressed it more than a few times lol, but I also use it alllllllllll the time. I just press it and type in whatever program i wanna open. Faster than clicking on an icon. A registry edit to disable bing search definitely made it way nicer too. Now no web results show up
The key seems pretty pointless. I disable cortana anyways so idk why i’d want a key for it lol. It’s other function is search apparently but I already use the win key for that
That’s even more of a reason for me to pirate. I have access to pretty much every TV show, movie, book, comic, etc that I could possibly want from before my existence til now. I can get to it from anywhere in the world and i know that i’m not just gonna arbitrarily remove it. I can also get specific releases or better formats. I have scripts to easily remux audio or subtitles or whatever I want. I’ve even learned how to Web-DL from services I get for free from my ISP and cell carrier. My Plex server is definitely better than any single streaming service and I have quite a bit of stuff that isn’t on any. Would never choose to go back at this point with how convoluted and expensive streaming is now.
A lot of routers at least have an IoT wifi network lol. Should’ve probably used that. Although it probably has some stupid dongle it connects to instead that’s connected directly to ethernet. Unfortunately the average person buying a drill is not gonna know how to set up a VLAN.
I mean this is just cuz you don’t kno how lol. I honestly find it significantly more convenient having literally all of my media on Plex vs. across 5 different streaming services that all charge too much, still give you ads, have inconsistent libraries, and pull shit when you’re in the middle of watching it.
