Oh.. The classic.. Strawberries & minced beef!

Home assistant, whisper, piper, openwakeword (set to jarvis), ollama.

But its no iron man level jarvis

Holy shit. Trying to force licenses on growing from seed because someone cross fucking bred its mother plant.. Thats dystopian as fuck.

I know people want to protect strains they produced, but we are all in this together. Dont go blocking a process or method which might make a crop yield more in a certain climate, or resistant to certain bugs, because you protected it first. fucking copyright and patents... How does that shite exist

There used to be hoardes of sites offering free downloads, quizzes, porn etc etc. You would have to solve a captcha to get through, but they were 'stuck' in an infinite loop. I always believed it was being used by spammers/hackers to bypass actual captcha elsewhere on the web. Its kinda genius, offloading the work to randoms looking for free stuff..

Guess it'll be called chick-a-flix. Or if its porn. Fil-a-chick

Findacrew.net - Typically private boat owners looking for a hand on crossings. No experience might make this a bit of a push and I havent used it for about 10 years so...

A better chance might be to try and get ahold of the merchant navy.

Plenty of big ships that take a volunteer crew, especially for ship delivery. They can be picky about who they make shipmates, so dont sound fucking useless if you contact someone. Competition to be crew can get fierce.

Depending where you are, most seem to do the business on Facebook.

Fucking heathen. Dark mode for life

Who cares

I found blocking things is full on, time consuming and never really works effectively enough. There's always a way to see things that you want to see and if its forbidden, the curiosity is stronger.

Preference is approaching conversation with the kid(s). Take some time to watch things with them. The kid needs to learn critical thinking using logic and reasoning. Teaching these skills, and to not take everything at face value is probably where I would direct my energies. Wish I had better advice, but harbouring good debate without getting too emotional/personal is a skill worth learning.

Nice spot!

Prob somewhat irrelevant due to maturity of both, but I had a surface 2 with Ubuntu on it and that computer is now used.to wedge a door open. The experience was shit but the surface 2 was atom based I think so that was prob most of the reason....

That being said, I installed Linux on a lenovo yoga (convertible) and I never touched the screen for frustration. Even on the steamdeck, is and touch is no fun

I suggest testing a few OS for touch friendliness.
