On same tone, Warren Buffet.

He has also donated billions in the same charity and largely lives controversy free.

I'm not saying he meant anti-union by that line, but that's classic anti-union line saying my employees don't need unions.

Very much in line of "unions means less money for you" statement.

App? TikTok which is literally a spyware.

Platform? Tie between Facebook and TikTok

Reddit would crumble badly very soon is those unpaid mods just immediately give up. The chaos will definitely doom Reddit and fast.

But it's clear that mods there would rather suffer than give up their made up power.

I see.

After ruining their streaming and movies, they are focusing on their gaming division.

You do know Gates left day to day operations from Microsoft for like 20 years ago and his foundation has nothing to do with Microsoft?

Great news is that Amazon has also added delivery fee for same day and overnight deliveries for Prime members. At least in UK

So basically it's too much payment for not much of benefits

It doesn't ask for either magnet or torrent links. Are you sure you're not clicking any ad button by accident?

I'm specifically talking about https://1337x.to

Who doesn't want to go through learning of text editor and pain of configuring instead of actually coding?

IMO, deno's approach was bad as it was reinventing the wheel, so one had to relearn. And then they brought package.json which they said they wouldn't. This again got people to unlearn and relearn things.

Bun, on the other hand, acts like what Typescript is to Javascript. It's just feels like superset of Node, instead of completely different tool.

I expect Bun will get more success than Deno.

Remember Quora when they started rewarding for questions asked instead of correct answers?

First Twitter and now Quora, Reddit is learning from best out there.

Google is doing this for several years now already.

Go to Photos as and a lot of features are behind Google One or 1st year of Pixel purchase.

Samsung is just getting inspiration from likes of Google and Apple, and not the other way around.

I know what I do.

I go to ChatGPT, type my problem and copy the solution to my codebase.

If it doesn't work, I search my issue over Stackoverflow or DDG, and copy from there.

And once the code fails in production, which is always, I repeat the process again to find the new solution which will then fail in next iteration.

So don't you ever tell me I don't know what I do. I may not know what code I'm writing or for what, but I very well know what I'm doing.

It's not about that actually, it's discrimination.

These people are still seeing ads, but not the ones which they need at their age

I think https://getcomics.org has a weekly collections as well.

How come Focus for Reddit is still working? Even NSFW is unblocked there

Actually it might be Jeroba.

I'm using Thunder and it's swift. Even Liftoff is decent.

But Jeroba is laggy and often shows error

Like people said, a lot of companies have stake in real estate.

WeWorks, for example, was supposed to be big IPO and big payouts for these companies. And because of WFH, WeWorks is near bankruptcy with 12 cent stock.

Only way to avoid further real estate losses is to force employees back to office.

If you've an option to install android apps, then OnStream is a good option.

Second option is HDO.

They generally have 1080p videos, but can also have CAM prints.

UK, card exclusively.

The charges on card is lifted some years ago and now there's no need to carry cash anywhere.

No email requirement

So if mods make the subreddits SFW, will that work on third party apps?

Because I think if government regulations was in play, then this move will cause Reddit a lot of headache.

Kingfisher Airlines (India).

When it was operative, it was luxury flight at same "ordinary" prices as other airlines.

They were amazing back then.

Plex is incredible in this. It collects metadata, downloads subtitles, and even skip pre and post credits.

Also there are tools like Filebot (old version) for subtitles, and TV show Renamer (free) for title and metadata.

I've an interview schedule in few hours as well.

Try taking cold shower and a coffee afterwards.

You've to use Revanced Manager app to do it manually.

You can get compiled app, but then you've to trust the person sending you the APK

This is the right answer.

It has all the flexibility, wider compatibility and app support, and simply plays everything.

You'll only be giving Reddit more traffic without achieving anything else.

I don't know about the contents, but actual Reddit will be blocky, filled with more ads than feed, and mostly be unmoderated soon

It's the same for me

LinkedinLunatics, IAmTheMainCharacter for time wasting

Jobs, UKJobs for job search

Recrutinghell to know I'm not the only one in the hellhole

Soccer (activities are non existent here), BoxOffice, Entertainment, etc. for fun

A wild guess, but could it be Microsoft?

I mean they are already creating use cases and integrating them in their apps, especially their business suite.

While Google and OpenAI are ahead in AI innovation, I feel Microsoft is getting ahead in implementation and actual end user scenarios.

Microsoft office offerings are still much larger than Google's, plus they capture Dev's needs with GitHub CoPilot and VS/ VSCode integrations.

I feel like by the time Google will be ready or OpenAI's contract with MS ends, both of these companies will lag sufficiently behind MS in real world.

I still open YouTube which lands me directly to subscription section thanks to Revanced.

But between removal of recommendation and unsub of LTT channels, all my subscribed channels post like 1 videos a day, combined. So my consumption is very low now.

I didn't mean to say it's a new fork, but that the fork already exists. Maybe didn't form my sentence correctly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unaffordable to a point that I can't even think about it - anywhere in London

Speaking strictly of software industry

There are two kinds of lying.

  • Lie about language/framework you don't know
  • Lying about qualification, company you worked with, title held, etc.

The first kind of lying is fine as long as you're confident you can crack the interview. Your knowledge is needed and these days, since companies anyway want everything, lying about some language may get you an interview call.

Do not evet lie about second type. Most companies conduct a background check on you to verify about your details. They even sometimes connect with your previous employer to verify the details.

If you're lying here you can land in a big trouble
