Fallout criticized most political systems. How capitalism devalues humanity to the point where they've turned you into an object of experimentation in underground bunkers while their wars destroy the world. That communism was flawed in its lust for power and dominance so much so that the end result was the same. No matter the side you're on, war never changes. And in reality, being good, and honest, and decent is up to every individual to make that decision for themselves.

I want one of these, but at the same time I'm not sure if I want it because everyone else wants it, or because I'd actually use it (my Switch is in a storage box because I never turn it on)

I recently canceled my Netflix subscription just because I use Youtube and Paramount about 150% more often, and then finding out they had ... games lol I don't believe you

An ai that poisons any trace of art or text scraped by previous ai in all of its non-consent architecture that’s being propped up much the same way nfts were as “the future”

I kind of prefer people provide context for a link before I jump into it, especially with spam converging on the fediverse and all

Which means lemmy is now my main go-to lol

I moved to Mastodon months ago, and I tried over and over to get my closest followers to follow me over and most of them continue to stay there. Happy to say I finally deleted my Twitter account, but I can't imagine the level of addiction you've got to be on in order to sit through this.

A tie between spending hours and hours sitting in front of one of those big wooden late 80s TVs playing Super Mario Bros 3, and realizing I had a crush on the neighbor girl while we played (mid 90s) Street Fighter

If these numbers are coming from more than mastodon.social, I'd be very interested in hearing about how exactly they gathered that data

The faster Twitter dies, the better. Reddit has a complicated history, but Twitter has done nothing but warp people's sense of self worth and ideas of what social media is and what their presence should be online. It's a legacy of violence upon the mind
