Shit this comment made me so thirsty good lord I need some water
Great recommendation. Somewhere in the Between was my introduction to the genre! So many good memories listening to both of these albums nonstop in high school, totally reshaped my whole musical identity at the time.
I'll ride my bike around, ideally picking up some food and eating it somewhere public where I can people watch. Then the rest of the day I'll play around with my guitar and/or some video games if I'm playing anything at the moment. (Still working on TotK right now)
Regarding #1, the problem lies in the implementation of the cameras. I think the idea of average speed cameras are interesting. Basically, just have multiple cameras and use the time a driver takes to get from one to the other to calculate their average speed. This way you can't game it by slowing down at specific points.
After Zelda dropped I had pretty low expectations for this direct but there was a lot of stuff in there!! The one that actually captured my attention the most was Penny's Big Breakaway. All that movement stuff just looks so smooth and fun.
Also stoked for all the Mario love, the art style they're going for with Mario Wonder is so expressive, kinda reminds me of the Mario and Luigi games
I'm a big fan of the Cheesy Seasoning Blend at Trader Joe's!
I'm admittedly not familiar with how the program works but I suspect that "totally bulletproof and unbiased eligibility criteria that can't / won't be weaponized against specific people groups" isn't something that it guarantees
👉 nice
Lol I can't wait to reunite the Xbox live gang to get demolished at CoD again when (if?) my generation hits retirement age
I used bacon reader for a couple years before switching to relay and staying there for like 10 years or something like that. Tried others here and there but always quickly went back to relay for one reason or another. I'll be sad to see it go
Riding transit in off peak hours is great for this and you can often get to a quieter location this way too. Some of my favorite days are the ones I spend on my own taking the train out of town when I need to travel, even though it's not the fastest way to get around
It's true that you'll probably see something unpleasant on public transit once in a while but most folks aren't going to share the experience of someone who is literally tasked with engaging with and managing the people causing problems on the bus.
It's unfortunate though because in my experience transit feels a lot more pleasant when there are at least a decent amount of people riding with you. When people start to feel unsafe and stop riding, it can drive further people away if they have other transportation options.
I cannot imagine that marginal calorie burn from the 1-2 lbs difference in frame material is going to outweigh the impact of manufacturing costs and longevity of steel vs aluminum, though I do agree that these should be likey addressed after bikes have the infra and adoption sorted out. E-bikes still represent the best solution towards replacing car trips for the average person imo
