I was kind of hoping that these kinds of posts would stay at reddit where they belong.

It might be checking for specific root-related files on your device.

My social anxiety increased to an all time high when I visited the US. The pressure to tip is real.

I prefer the gestures and UI of the stock YouTube app, so having a patched app is the best of both worlds.

What am I missing here? My watch history works properly on the official YouTube app.

I'd say seeing content from random accounts that I don't follow would be part of that.

Now reviews just talk about the camera and then 20% of other important features while saying that it's worth the 200% of a reasonable price tag.

Agreed, given that the 8 Gen 1 on my S22 resulted in terrible thermal management and battery life.

I'd say that the exception flagship (base S22) was not good due to its chip.

I'd spent months Googling for battery life fixes. I'd come across a myriad of comments blaming users for not "optimising" their phones, and Ultra users saying that the poor battery life and overheating throttling of the base model are just myths.

One day, I decided that enough is enough. I switched to a phone with the S8G2 and I couldn't be happier.

While I haven't used it before, the S23 seems to be what the S22 should be, and I would've continued using it if that was true.

You can try and see if Tasker can turn Wi-Fi off and then back on when your extender's Wi-Fi signal is low.

I used to do this before switching to a mesh Wi-Fi setup.

Ah, the phone that the Galaxy S22 should've been.

Did you feel that it's so-so because it's way closer to reality than other episodes?

I have the same theory that I always mention to those who are hesitant to switch devices!

I used to be annoyed about not having my Android devices work like iOS.

Enjoying new tech was a lot better after I started viewing them as different devices instead of pure replacements.

I'd strongly advise against getting the Galaxy S22 as its battery life (both Exynos and Snapdragon) isn't good.

Reading this post on my non-Android device, it's all good!

Are there any Lemmy clients that support viewing multi-communities? For example, I'd prefer viewing all posts for all instances of Android over the combined subscribed list.

I've purchased several budget/midrange phones as my daily driver, and the long term performance simply wasn't worth it based on the things that I do with my phone.

Now, this is based on cheaper phones with specs from several years so this doesn't hold true anymore.

Just when I thought that he can't do anything dumber than the name change or paid verifications…

I'd immediately upgrade to a phone with 16:9 bezel-less screen and non-rounded corners.

Just to clarify, I don't want to view all of the content from my subscribed communities in a single view. I want to be able to tap on something like Android and then only view the content from all instances with the same community name that I'm subscribed to.
