I always liked kids, but never saw myself having any.

I met a girl who was dead set on children and already ended a long relationship due to the partner not wanting kids.

I decided I could have one kid, as long as it was a few years in the future so I could do stuff you don't really do when you have kids.

Years went by, pregnancy happened. Having a kid is exhausting but at the same time having a kid who considers you their most important person in the world is an amazing high and something you will never experience by babysitting someones kid.

I don't regret having my child, I love my child very much and they surprise me every day with how capable they are of stuff, to the point I am amazed this little person is related to me at all.

I'm at peace with my decision even if I had other plans and might sometimes miss what could've been with less responsibility, but at the same time I will grow older and I will have less responsibility as my child gets older too. And as one grows older I imagine running around town being up to no good gets old as well.

That is extremely American looking

I didn't bother reading it all but seems like the writer is mostly complaining about their personal tech issues and blaming their house, which seems to have an almost ideal setup for building a good network.

Overlooking that is very possible, but I guess I expected more, isn't The Verge a tech site?

If they want to adhere to EU laws I think they might have to, might still fuck over people from other places though.

Being free always raises the question of what they are getting out of you using it. I wouldn't be entirely comfortable using it.

This is how I even found out they were making the game, so pretty good news. Never got around to playing the other one they released, though.. Or finishing the first.

Everyone outside the US are over it, especially considering the war to follow

Sweden here we only get 5 weeks vacay. 480 days parental leave though.

I sympathise with them, but played it without any insight into any drama. It's one of the best games I've played.

Couldn't help around the house but could apparently hire lawyers to fight for their right to continue not helping.

I think the main issue is with web pages. Seems instead of optimizing them nowadays they are just bloated to the vague level they think one can get away with in terms of average hardware run by the users.

I was 27 for three years

Good. Get fucked Elon.

Samsungs out of the box experience gives me anxiety to be honest. Had a few for work, luckily their singular purpose is running the authenticator app.

That's all I am waiting for. Edge and Chrome have really good ones and I really want it for FF.

I really love the world of GTA V, it has a lot to explore and is beautiful. I just wish the driving physics to explore it weren't so utterly boring. GTA IV had great arcade driving.

In my language I don't think there's a distinction between the two, but you can say it's barbecue coal etc.

Don't give up, keep reaching for that cum rainbow and at the bottom of it you will boxfuls of the stuff.

Leaving the toilet seat up is moot because the lid should be closed when flushing

Every time they revive it I feel like this, except for the movies. Especially the obligatory first episode poking fun at the cancellation and explaining the revival. There's usually a few gems though.

Last time around, the eyephone episode with the butt mole and the strange "and this iPod, I don't want it anymore"-line from the witness protection episode sent me cringing so hard I broke three ribs.

Also seems mildly infuriating to reach across whatever you are cooking to handle the knobs.

It's actually obvious as soon as a person doesn't say where they are from, because there's typically only one nationality that assumes you know where they are from.

I heard the fizz is bad for your teeth also. Probably better than sugary drinks, though.

Valve are major players in Linux being a viable option for gaming and actively fighting the Microsoft monopoly for PC gaming. Not in line with other players in the industry.

They are actively developing proton as well as their own controller support for any games within their platform.

What is the rest of the industry doing in line with this?

Right here, how's that going to help someone who is having issues? Or am I just meant to gloat a bit?

You need an extension called Sponsorblock

I'm exactly the opposite. I feel like regeneration makes avoiding damage feel trivial and doesn't reward you for playing well.

I think there's a few models that are not really advertised, don't know them though.

Seems unattractive for manufacturers since apparently 50% of income on TVs is user data.

I mean this has been in games for a long time between the 90s and 00s and has always been called literally cheat codes

I started blocking them to avoid my feed looking like some eerie ghost town

I miss there being lots of pages people would go to, lots or things and communities to explore. I understand there's probably more pages in total now, but I still feel like users mostly gravitate the same ones.

Never. Not a thing.

I have had no issues either, but setting a PC up for my little sister I quickly realized that for her it was a lot different. Games like Fortnite, Rainbow Six Siege and Valorant do not run.

"Real" games I pay for with no ads I think are ok. My most played mobile game is Slay the Spire, which works well since it's just a card game.

Action games would be a hard pass.

I was excited to play the remake of my all time favourite game Mafia 1, but it only lasted for about 20 minutes. They put utterly pointless additions in and the AI was somehow way dumber despite being 20 years newer.

Wtf is a ram keybind for car driving?
