I heard they are always trembling because they are too small to retain their body heat. And they are aggressive because everyone else is too big and scary.

These poor dogs literally spend most of their lives cold and terrified.

We all know there won't be a Deck 3. So I hope they take their time on making the second one perfect.

Didn't they pull the same shit back when they changed the company name to Meta?

The best thing about this gen so far is the rise of handheld PCs, like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally. I mostly play on the Deck nowadays, while the PS5 gathers dust.

Recover from any injury by eating whole cheese wheels

Happened when management started treating the IT department like crap and demanding we work overtime with no extra pay. Almost all the experienced developers left in the spam of a year.

Before I left, I told them they would never be able to assemble such a good team again. Four years later and they are still struggling to keep the department running, according to a friend that chose to stay. The few developers they are able to hire are either terrible or quit after a while.

I get the feeling the same will happen in my current job :/

Perhaps they confused yearly with monthly.

Reminds of a funny story. Back when I was reviewing the contract for my current job, I noticed the HR lady confused my yearly salary with monthly. That meant they were going to pay me almost $100k per month if that contract was signed!

I pointed out the mistake three times and she insisted the contract was correct. I had to contact a company director to get it corrected.

Musk wants to cash out and leave Tesla bankrupt. I call it a Trump move.

Some annoying dumb fuck I don't even remember the name anymore. That was almost a decade ago.

Dude was a compulsive liar, he would brag about being some sort of super genius, but couldn't even understand basic instructions.

When he wasn't slacking off, he was failing at doing the most basic tasks and annoying other people into doing it for him.

I think he didn't even last three months on the job. Given his lack of shame, ability to confidently lie and over hype his non existent qualities, I imagine he must be a successful politician or CEO nowadays.

I bet the reason is people blocking this attention seeking manbaby

I was in a similar situation. A few weeks after I got hired, the project I was hired for was cancelled, so they "benched" me.

I spent three months being paid to do whatever I wanted, didn't even need to go to the office. It was nice at first, but I felt useless and miserable after a couple of months.

This made me understand why some people keep working long after they have enough to retire.

They also pulled a really cool hack on Jak and Dexter. They were able to hack into the PS1 chip hidden away in the PS2 for backwards compatibility to get some extra processing power!

Face eating leopards are eating good tonight!

If I didn't, they would have figured it out before my first payment and I'd be fired on the spot without receiving a single penny.

I used to read Batman comics, until DC rebooted their universe... again.

Nowadays, I stick with manga.

Exactly! This is more about the social aspect of these games. Kids are playing Fortnite/Roblox/Minecraft because that's where their friends are hanging out after school.

Unfortunately, that's a common thing in the gaming industry. Another example are the PS1 Final Fantasy games, they are stuck with those low res backgrounds and FMVs because Square Enix lost the original assets.

There are some modders experimenting with eGPUs on the Deck, but it's really impractical. The Deck USB-C connector isn't powerful enough to handle an external GPU and the OS doesn't support it.

Valve would need to release new hardware for it to be feasible.

It's in reference to Valve being unable to count to 3

For me, it's being able to sleep and wake the device with games still running without worrying about a crash or running out of battery because Microsoft broke sleep on W11

I read about it over a decade ago. Something about the game being difficult to emulate because of it. Now I can't find anything :(

That actually happened with a former coworker of mine, the clumsiest person I've ever met. (Me being the second one)

One of the bathrooms at the hotel we were staying at had a mirror covering the entire wall. Of course the clumsy guy tried to walk into the mirror, bashing his face. It was hilarious!

I am optimistic about it. The old Devil May Cry anime was pretty good.

You should check out Dead Space 3 co-op mode. It's basically what you described here.

Yeah, I think it was in Assassin's Creed 2. At the time, people were unable to play the single player game they bought at launch because Ubisoft shitty authentication service couldn't handle the load.

Guess who didn't have that problem...

That's fair. I hope they tone down the difficult in the sequel. I was able to get through the base game, but the extra content is just way too difficult.

The Genesis Young Indiana Jones game. Played it a lot when I was a kid, because I owned very few games. Got so good at it I was able to beat the whole thing without dying. I loved that game.

Then a few days ago, James Rolfe played it in the latest AVGN episode and holy cow that game is absolute garbage. For the curious, you can check it out from 18:34: https://youtu.be/xPsN_rcEpu4

I've been eagerly watching the foldable space ever since the first Razr was announced, but never took the plunge because I felt the tech wasn't there yet. You would pay flagship prices for a fragile phone with bad specs.

Now I think they are finally good enough. My next one will probably be a Razr, I don't trust Samsung.

That's the one I was thinking about. They rebooted in the 90s and I dropped out when they rebooted again in 2011.

Tbf, most of the canon was kept intact, but I thought it was a good dropping point for me.

You should check out Frog Fractions

I am traveling with my Steam Deck right now. Best purchase I made this year!

Ring of Pain. It's a creepy dungeon crawler roguelite. I don't know why, I've seen everything the game has to offer and somehow I keep coming back to it.
