why is this news lmao

I actually remember reddit posts complaining they hit the same bug as he did, some days prior and also some days later lol

til about this, but like, I doubt anyone uses this in a racist way though, far from it.

I wonder how much price increases stem from a lack of creativity in finding more nicer ways to be profitable, and overall inefficiency of their operations

Uh, I use Gnome and rounded corners are all around the gnome apps I use. I wouldn't use Edge, but I'd like to see Chrome have this.

MacOS is similar but better. The sandboxing and permissions were planned and implemented long ago, and getting a new app is as simple as downloading its .app bundle and running it.

I installed this other one https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ad-accelerator/gpboiedfklodfhngobidfjecdpmccehg?hl=en because this one seems to the FOSS.

Yeah. I'd definitely steal a lot of money.

No, but the American prison system just makes people more violent and insane.

Prisons overall seem to do that... Ditto with correctional facilities.

redditbrains

Some say that these moves (Elon's and Spez's) mean that a economic catastrophe a la 2008 might come in the future. Sugs, but welp, it is what it is

yes.

I do think its a waste to spend money on a search engine

I honestly believe that it's good to pay for services if you find them good. FOSS does need the money but unless you want to wait for the long term, it's not viable as a user.

Its fustrating as a FOSS nerd to see so many people shill yet another subscription based service ...

I'm quite interested in FOSS stuff but I get disappointed by so much FOSS stuff I now just use whatever feels the best to me

I only install UBO and never configure it, so perhaps UBOL will be fine

Hell yeah, if this is true then I might get a Zenfone 10

I'm not sure. I don't really believe things will get better, as they only seem to get worse as time passes. I'm a 3rd worlder...

tfw i use google chrome on linux comfily

this is pretty kino i cant pay to get rid of ads, but seeing them is no issue for me

EEVDF is the thing that is exciting about it.

I guess so but they are rather helpful still, so...

Trump/Kanye then? lel

true, but Mishaal is reliable I'd say. I can always get a motorola though. Otherwise, welp, I'd get an iPhone because I regret my Xiaomi

Uh huh. I'd just steal from whatever rich person I knew. I'd donate some to some software projects, and the rest is all mine, baby

what issues? I am considering either an Asus Zenbook or a Thinkpad or a Macbook and recently I've heard bad things about modern thinkpads.

not just that, the Just Perfection dev argued that they (extension devs) much rather have that instead of an API because the API wouldn't be as flexible/free

Yup. This place is currently fine for people who can stomach the quirks and missing features and you don't want them to come, feel overwhelmed about how it isn't truly like reddit yet and then leave and not consider coming back

yucky af

they still do so

People get used to it, it's "fine" but doesn't improve considerably or add anything exciting, so people get bored. I moved from Firefox to Chrome, and honestly Chrome feels smoother and uses less ram seemingly for me on my laptop. Aside from no support for vaapi on wayland, chrome is fine imo

That's really odd. I have been using it for like 3 years so far and I haven't had many problems like those, and when I did they were intel/amd gpu driver bugs/crashes or kdenlive as I mentioned before.

Seems like so. It's far from ready though. Until it is (if it ever is...), I'll be happy on NixOS or MacOS (if I buy a macbook).

For me Gnome on Wayland crashes when KDEnlive crashes and takes down the whole desktop.

that sounds so funny ngl

I don't, I moved to Chrome after a year of using Firefox full time.

I use Linux full time since 2020, and have known it since 2013~, but I don't ever recommend it to anyone. It's full of papercuts.

tbqh that's nice!

That's cool! Over here in LATAM correctional facilities and prisons just make people worse.

just tried and it looks pretty good.
