The average person produces about 1.5 liters of saliva per day.

And on top of that when the new mods find out it's just like a regular job but without pay tons will bail out.

btw: thank you mods, honestly, after doing for a little while I think you are saints.

Wow he wasn't that old, damn, it was always fun when he showed up at The Screensavers.

I never understood the bashing for being a "sellout", he was a well known public figure in tech industry, I bet it was hard to find a decent job.

Let me try to explain this as someone that lives in Mexico, Jaime Maussan is like a cheap version of Fox Mulder or that "Aliens" meme guy from history channel. Bigfoot, loch Ness, martians, etc you name it.

Nothing new for us but he must be thrilled that someone from outside Mexico pays attention to him.

Jason Voorhees... Fuck horny teenagers, let me enjoy crystal lake without teenagers humping and stirring drama

Are they that dumb or are they new to the internet?

From the moment I saw her lips I knew she's tila tequila type or crazy.

I don't remember this episode of Stargate SG-1

I've been there and you know what's worse about it? When you fix it only you or a handful of people notice the astronomical labor you did.

"It worked before why did you change it? You are just doing busywork"

Putting aside the idea that everyone can read the code and find/fix exploits, sometimes it's good to be open to vulnerabilities because you know where/what to fix.

Sometimes closed code it's exploited for years before the owner or general public finds out, and that leads to more problems.

this might help you.

I remember there was another where you put your opinions (agree, don't care, disagree) about those bullet points and it throws you a list of instances but I didn't save it sorry.

A small part of me (not fully) thinks that COVID was a biological weapon that got out of hand from some pseudo dictator, there's too many of them and they aren't that bright/care to measure the consequences.

Time to print "I made a doodoo" in my exemptions...

My aunt used to have a tangerine tree in front of the house, she didn't mind if someone takes some fruit from it but what made us really mad is that eventually assholes broke branches to get them.

Lesson learned, just pines in front of the house.

Just by the title we know that you are that kind of crazy.

Have you tried twitter? I've heard it's great for people like you right now.

And that dark time you could TELL THAT THEY PAID TV SHOWS TO TRY TO FORCE BING as a verb like we use google.

Kinda funny because nobody called it bing but suddenly all popular TV shows started to do it.

Not exactly what you are asking but have you tried https://www.bazarr.media/

You can automate and forget about it

Congrats! now you can indulge in recreational activities (for a day o two) without remorse!

I'll take "someone that hasn't hang out with women for 300" Alex

What sucks is that TIFU was decent before people started doing it... Malicious compliance started to decay at that level too in the last year or two

I want my phone to last more than 2 years

You know what? Good.

If you want to buy something fancy you could buy an expensive "dumb" one that won't lose its value in a year or so. It's the buyers fault.

Unless you want it for working out I find smartwatches stupid. Are you so busy that you can't pull your phone out of your pocket?

Edit: I take it back, yeah seems that there are some specific reasons like those below for wearing a smartwatch.

I still find spending 17k in a luxury watch dumb, a Rolex (I have no idea how much they are worth) still seems better because it won't lose it's value like when the smartwatch OS becomes obsolete.

If it's true that's just plain dystopian sci-fi fking wrong.

Forget mad max and those movies reality is worse

We kinda do it already, I can't be the only one that has taken "power naps" in my office instead of going home to sleep when a crisis hits at work. Hell, after the first one I bought a sleeping bag for those times.

Oooooohhhhhhh snap!

Cringe

Why? They are useless and some people go crazy about them.

Why should we copy the bad if we are trying to build something better

Ohhhhhhhhh! Burn!

Hahaha love this thread, I hope it becomes meta

It would be nice. But a reminder that they hired a person to type for them doing AMAs in reddit... Yes typing.

They just don't care, aren't tech savvy, don't have time or don't want to do it.

I bet they just want to go where there's most of the people to do their promotion once instead of several places and save time. You could try to explain federation to them but I bet they just want to use the "new Twitter".

I was watching that Felicia Day announce that she made a threads account and she is (or pretends to be) tech savvy. She has geeks as fan base that would mock her for doing so... Image someone like Scarlett Johansson "waste"time in her own server

That means I could buy elron_has_a_small_peepee now?

I think this answers your question: pirate D&D books

I guess depends of the admin, need to ask them.

Funny how it feels like the old forums isn't it?

I'm glad we found this place.
