In fairness, when is the last time youve taken a shit in a post apocalyptic videogame? Although I still think its cool if things like this are considered.

At least in Germany "tolino" might be worth a look. I don't know how far they have expanded out of Germany, though.

the genocide of the Armenians is not taught about in German schools because it regularly resulted in attacks on teachers from turkish parents if teachers so much as spoke about it to their students.

Apple is not considerably better for privacy either by rhe way. They just pay more for marketing that says they're more private than the rest of big tech.

Also, areweanticheatyet.com

A google Pixel phone works well for a webcam, in case someone comes across this post and has one.

In GrapheneOS, a single wrong fingerprint disables fingerprint unlock until the password is entered.

Its like the difference between a Patek Philippe and a Hublot. The Patek is an incredible display of craftsmanship and stupendously expensive because it takes multiple highly skilled watchmakers like a year to make one. The Hublot is expensive because owning it is expensive and that makes it cool. There is no technological advantage it has on a watch that is half the price. No watch enthusiast would ever buy a Hublot.

Or buy the full version, which is a one-time purchase and solves the license issue AFAIK

AMD "just works" unless you dare expect hardware encoding that you explicitly picked your card based on to work properly

Get another AMD chip, you've just been unlucky. I've had AMD running Linux for 5 years with no issues.

That's already possible. My bank doesn't support GWallet and I could set it as my default payment provider just fine

Exactly, it works flawlessly and without any further setup on EndeavourOS for me. It's a Pixel feature afaik.

Not at my Computer right now but its called Youtube Shorts Block

thank you!

Tbf I am not sure all versions of the Pixel support this, my 7a does though.

They dont convince people of their Ideas though. All they do is ragebait populism. Their actual Ideas are just shitty fiscal conservativism with some vaguely racist and homophobic social policy. They are not selling the product they are convincing people to buy.

I was moreso focused on things like "Now Playing" or on-device translation

I think in a communist society, it might make sense to reward special personal achievements and such with goods like that, like awarding every college graduate a certain thing (jewlery etc) depending on their field of study. It might also make sense to allow for an exchange of such goods through a special market

Are you completly sure you copied all the files correctly, not missing any hidden files and such?

Depends, unless you wanted to record/stream in higher-than-toaster quality until a month ago

It is possible to install Windows later too, you just have to go around fixing stuff then. I would recommended just getting another drive if possible though, ssds are cheap as fuck. Then just unplug all but the one you want to overwrite and install whatever. Idiot proof.

Endeavour with KDE is honestly godlike. It simply works. occasionally nvidia drivers break initramfs and there was the broken grub issue, but the only other distro I have around is Pop on a laptop I dont want to update frequently and I can only just tolerate it since I dont play games or record/edit on it, anything with no AUR would just be painful otherwise

Or Vesktop, which is a client mod that allows streaming (even with audio)

The reasons for this are actually somewhat sound once you realize how fucking shit SD Cards actually are. They break/corrupt frequently and for no reason and it creates a ton of Customer Service hassle to tell people their photos are gone when they inevitably die.

Google ein Passat

Duct Tape or any funny sticker with good adhesive would do the trick.

4 months no patches -> active?!

I personally run Pop! on a thinkpad for school and its rock solid. I've rebooted it maybe 10 times over the past 2 years, mostly when it ran out of battery in my backpack. I've never had any issue with it, I even installed KDE in addition to the standard GNOME and it worked just fine. If you've liked Pop! so far, I absolutely recommend it if it works on a non-System76 machine for you.

In many countries they have to pay for ergonomically suitable WFH equipment if they mandate WFH

To be honest, after my past few months of experience I would also go with endeavour on the laptop, but before then with a nvidia gpu it would occasionally just break in random ways (initramfs, dolphin wouldn't open, KDE desktop/panel config completely shot, font rendering randomly broken), but all those haven't happened lately so it probably would be fine now.

As a Pixel owner, how much do you lose in terms of the pixel-exclusive software when using graphene?

I've used droidcam in the past and I didn't find it to be the most reliable thing ever which is why I appreciate the Pixel feature

If you have nothing to say, say nothing at all.

It does provide H264/H265 according to Section 3.3 (Arch Wiki)

Also works well for downhill mountainbiking. Repeating "slow is smooth, smooth is fast" helps avoid sketchy situations through gnarly/dangerous terrain.

What is it called?
