Looks interesting, but I think a website would be better suited for this (so people can spontaneously play it without having to download anything). Please consider making one :)

1916, Mykola Leontowytsch (an Ukrainian composer)

Can someone explain please?

I'll assume they mean the countries that currently support Ukraine

In the text about Sodom and Gomorra the way I understand it God is punishing them for wanting to rape the angel or whoever it was who's sleeping there. Not for it being a gay act when men rape a man.

Are those ads everywhere in a room with us right now?

Seriously though, I haven't seen a single ad ever since activating an adblocker when I first used a computer. And macOS has just as many ads on websites when not using an adblocker.

That's fundamentally different from steel. We don't really have an alternative currently. You could use something like aluminium but that's not environmentally friendly either (in the initial production, for recycling it's great).

It's not like antisemitism prevented people from supporting the NSDAP (in many cases the opposite). Sure, when they were elected they didn't know what to do with Jews yet, but antisemitism was one of the pillars of their philosophy (if the people are unhappy you have to take responsibility or simply point at someone and say "they are responsible, it's their fault") and antisemitism has existed since forever. (Of course there were not only Jews in concentration camps but they were initially made for them).

And sadly antisemitism still exists today in many areas of the world.

I prefer black. Remember that the saying goes: "White begins, black wins." (I have no idea if this saying also exists in English but it does rime just as well as in German („Weiß beginnt, Schwarz gewinnt.”))

You might want to take a look at Aptera. If we're lucky they'll sell their first cars in 1-5 years

I love that since people can't just use memorized openings (I don't know any openings, just playing the way I like - for me chess isn't about memorizing patterns but rather about analysing the board to find the best move. I play chess because I want to think, not because I want to train openings)

Sadly both of these don't work well when adding 3+ languages. I love typing by swiping but it worked so much better before I installed more languages.

Really hoping they'll fix that one day.

If they really do that the irony of Jews doing ethnic cleansing would be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I can highly recommend reading it, I love the way it shows that we should find people who still love us if we lose everything (shown by a negative example in the book)

The best thing is that there are much less repost bots (both for posts and comments)

Coal is required for steel, electricty-based heat would only work to lower carbon emissions (especially when recycling steel since you don't need coal there), but you couldn't prevent them.

It's hard since it could theoretically also be an actual user who used that website themself.

Honestly fair to show ads in the free tier. They could also simply not have a free tier.

How much did it affect the photo quality?

I know but still prefer black

When I'm hiking I only use my phone to take photos and to check the weather and maps (+ airplane mode when I'm not checking the weather). My Pixel 7 easily lasts half a week to a week with that usage.

I just do the hikes irl, nothing's more relaxing than being in the mountains alone or with a good friend.

  1. Rock is in the floor

  2. Ice age ends, water floods dirt around the rock away

  3. Rock either rolls down or stays

We have lots of these in Austria and at least here this is how they became like that.

Oh, I thought the Google camera app lost the pixel-specific fine tuning. Nice to know, thanks.

Mistral AI currently. They're just a minority currently but I doubt it'll stay that way.

And torrents start seeding automatically so it's only legal as long as you torrent files that aren't copyrighted, right?

I completely understand that features come in their native language first but even such long-standing features like call screening aren't available in any other language than English yet (also didn't know it even worked outside the USA)

You'll get used to them. Just remember to check if your tire profile is deep enough (4 mm), and slow down before curves + start accelerating halfway through them. And obviously keep more distance than usual.

Oh and always carry chains. Putting them on the tires isn't too hard, but try it once before (when your hands aren't cold and you aren't stressed). Most of the time you won't need them but when you do need them you really do.

I'm responding to rustyfish and felykiosa. People from French colonies are French citizens and can therefore comparatively easily emigrate to mainland France.

Backfires as in every country can take a limited number of migrants and usually try to reserve most of their capacities for people who actually need them (people fleeing from oppression, war or other life-threatening situations) instead of taking many people who just come for the better economy (this way the economy in their homecountry won't get better)

ublock origin blocks all ads for me and in my internet searches I usually add keywords like "stackoverflow" or "reddit" or "wikipedia" or whatever else I need

Anyway your point also exists for macOS and linux

Many of these extra features are only available in the USA, and quite a few features only work well in English.

Anyway, my previous phone (Galaxy S8) was perfectly smooth until the very end. Of course loading times for larger programs are shorter now on my Pixel 7 but in the end it barely makes a difference (I'm not playing any ressource-heavy games). Not sure what you're doing to get a modern Android to lag.

I agree that the extra apps aren't necessary, but it's good that there actually is some competition for Google and most of them can be uninstalled (or at least could be uninstalled on my S8). And they have some pretty good software, not everything is back (I really like their launcher and gallery). Bixby can also simply be disabled, and you can bind any action to the Bixby-button (Google assistant, opening an app, ...).

But where Pixels actually are better is when it comes to the camera (or rather camera software), their photos currently are the best ones (by phone cameras) on the market (yes, I'm including Apple here) (of course Apple and Samsung aren't far behind (at a much higher price), but it's incredibly impressive what the Pixel base and A models can do at a much lower price). Their photo editing AI (or rather their chip for it) also still is better than Samsung's.

As much as I dislike their recent choices, a lot of knowledge would be lost if Reddit went down.
