Why would they need your permission? They own the content you posted to their website.

I'd say just ignore it and move on. It's over. Focus on what what matters.

A basic set of tools. Car jack, tire iron, jumper cables. Rice cooker, crock pot, and air fryer (probably more than 100 collectively, but each one should be less than 100).

I've been doing this for years, it's super convenient.

The comments in this thread are fucking hilarious.

Reddit is Fun was among the first apps I installed on my first smart phone, way back in 2011. I thought, "oh reddit will come out with their own app eventually, I'll just use this until that happens." Turned out that 99% of my time spent on reddit over the last 12 years would be through RiF. I'm sad too, man. Lemmy seems pretty cool though

Exactly. I'd have no problem if my wife wants to partake in a little extra-marital cum play. Just please, tell me.

Every UFO "sighting" throughout human history has amounted to absolutely nothing, so I have the same expectations here

For some reason, half the time I try to swipe "because" it comes out as "beefsteak". No idea why and it's really annoying but I can't remove beefsteak from my swiftkey dictionary because I love tomatoes.

Sigur Ros is very popular

No, I wouldn't want anyone to steal from me so why would I want to steal from anyone else?

Jeff Buckley, no question. He released arguably the best album of the 90s (Grace) then went and fucking drowned. Only 30 years old. He coulda been one of the best to ever do it, but we're left wondering.

get the best you can afford

Ah, so the cheapest option available. Got it.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

he hasn't made a playable game since the 1990s

I'm always one for dramatic over-exaggeration but the Fable games are perfectly playable

That's...odd.

But then again smart phones weren't a thing when I was in school so most of this kinda stuff seems odd to me. I'm with the other guy, I'm glad I never had to deal with any nonsense resembling this.

who the fuck cares?

Clearly YOU care enough to write a wall of text about how the people celebrating pride are just as bad as the ones protesting it. If you didn't care, you would stay out of this thread. If you cared for the RIGHT reasons, you'd be decrying the actions of the protesters. Instead you spin this "both sides" nonsense. What you're doing is transparent and hateful.

As the owner of a cat who's both talkative and a picky eater, it's usually

"DAD I'M HUNGRYYYYYY"

And

"DAD I'M NOT HUNGRY FOR THAT HOW DARE YOU FEED ME THAT I'D RATHER STARVE"

Got two sci fis to recommend:

Coherence dinner party among friends gets stuck between alternate realities. One of those really good scripts that was shot on a microbudget. Weird movie, lots of fun to think about

Prospect a western film about a prospector going after a big score which also happens to be a sci fi movie set on an alien planet. Great film, very cool style and very underrated.

That's a funny way of spelling Daggerfall

I felt the warmth of my cat cuddling next to me when I woke up this morning.

I saw the light of the moon shining into my bedroom.

I heard the buzz of traffic humming through my window.

I understood that I had to set my fantasy football lineup because I forgot to last night.

My ex told me people didn't like me because I shared my thoughts too much, and I just got feedback from my boss about the same thing

Often times when this criticism is brought up it's not the fact that you're simply sharing your thoughts, but rather the thoughts themselves that you're sharing. If your opinions are problematic then obviously people won't want to hear them and won't want to be around you. So if you don't mind, could you share exactly what you said that made these people criticize you in this way?

I would say overall I'm below average. Fairly dumb. Bottom 30% of society.

I don't mind it too much. I know a lot about cinema and film history so I'm happy with that.

I'm a movie guy, but it doesn't really come down to quality for me. I've watched many shows that match or exceed the quality of even the very best movies. I just prefer the package of a movie; being able to sit down and get the complete experience in one afternoon as opposed to the days/weeks/months or even years long commitment of watching a show. Don't get me wrong, I love TV, I just prefer the ease and comfort that a movie can give me.

Pre-google youtube only existed for a year and it wasn't that great. What I miss is the early Google era. 2007-2010

Loved her on Taskmaster. "Have I met these potatoes before?!"

Between herself, John Kearns, and Munya, that season was a goldmine for 'comedians I had never heard of before and ended up loving'.

OBS is my one of my favorite softwares in general, let alone open source

Fargo. Even the "true story" that it's based on never happened.

My point is that there is zero reason to ever ADD sugar to any food, period

But you said it yourself, the reason to add it is for flavor.

Whether you like it or not, flavor is an incredibly important part of food and eating. Arguably the most important.

I like Bo Burnham's titles (both from the song Rant):

"The Blue-balled Anti-masturbator" and "The Great All-loving F*ggot-hater"

Edit: the instance removed the hate speech (which I was simply quoting and don't condone) so I censored it

I really enjoyed the dueling banjo fart battle against Michael Moore

As someone who is the stupid party stoner friend to a big friend group of (mostly) tech bros, this list is pretty hilarious to read from the other side.

Also fuck you for saying I'm gonna die young.

Very similarly, Across the Stars from Episode II is a slightly inverted minor version of the Star Wars main theme

The Annals of Tacitus were lost throughout history and many of the passages (including the ones that mention Christ) were rewritten in the 11th century by Christian monks. We cannot trust it as an historical source any more than we can trust the Bible itself

I don't really get messaging apps. I have discord on my phone but I disabled notifications because my phone buzzes any time someone posts anything in any community I'm a part of and it was getting really annoying. I also don't use it for messaging, I just use it for the voice lobbies.

Other than that, I text exclusively.

I don't know if I ever came to terms with it, the thought of one day not existing has always brought me a level of deep comfort. Maybe try looking at it as a good thing instead of a bad thing.

I replay candybox/candybox 2 at least once a year. Fantastic incremental ascii games

I can't see any evidence that it wasn't Pope Gregory on Oct 15 1582. Which was a Friday, I guess? The previous day, October 4th was a Monday and a Thursday but the Gregorian calendar standardized it.

As someone who spent some time homeless this entire comment is bullshit haha

I cry at the most random things. Most recently I cried during the last episode of Only Connect because a contestant solved a clue in a very clever way

I have two, both from the same game and both by the same character.

It is such a quiet thing, to fall. But far more terrible is to admit it.

And

It is a far greater victory to make another see through your eyes than to close theirs forever.

Both by Kreia from Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
