Internet would be better if javascript was never invented.

WTF is scuppering?

ENS, unstoppable domains, tor, i2p, ipfs... I think this is actually good for the Internet, it will normalize and popularize private, censorship resistant tech. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

1337x.to, qbittorrent, vpn if your isp cares. Dodi, fitgirl, johncena141 for games. For audio, video, books, just don't be dumb and open bee_movie.mp4.exe and you'll be fine.

It's pronounced "xits".

What a save!

Install KDE.

Jesse, WTF are you talking about?

Sms is not encrypted, your service provider can read all your texts.

And?

I tried lutris, heroic, bottles... even steam has issues with dodi's or FG installers. Now I just do wine path/to/file to install and add .exe as a non-steam game to run it through proton and it works every time.

Thanks. I tried to look it up and all I found was something about a hole in a ship.

I guess being treated better/worse because of the color of your skin is equality.

Thanks for recommending Libretube. I just switched to GrapheneOS and was looking for a FOSS revanced replacement without the need for Play Services or MicroG. Libretube is absolutely perfect.

I use crypto to privately pay for my VPN, phone bill, to donate to foss projects. I sold some digital items online for crypto. I use it because it's faster, more private (if done correctly) and convenient than using a credit card or bank transfer. No one can seize, freeze, or control my crypto. I can donate, pay or get paid on my own terms with no middle man. If visa, mastercard, banks or fintech companies generate value then so does crypto.

A gui app that lets you:

  • symmetrically encrypt and decrypt text and files with AES-256 and without any weird formating that would make it incompatible with openssl.
  • generate (without writing to file) RSA-(2048-4096) keys and asymmetrically encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify text and files.

It should be simple without any advanced options or storing any data or credentials or saving anything without asking the user. For example;

For symmetric text:

  • 3 text boxes, 1 for input, 1 for output, 1 for password, encrypt/decrypt radio, 1 button.

For symmetric file:

  • file picker, 1 password text box, encrypt/decrypt radio, 1 button

For asymmetric generation:

  • 2 text boxes, 1 for priv key, 1 for pub key, 1 button.

For asymmetric text:

  • 3 text boxes, 1 for input, 1 for output, 1 for priv/pub key, encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify radio, 1 button

For asymmetric file:

  • file picker, 1 priv/pub key text box, encrypt/decrypt/sign/verify radio, 1 button

What's the difference between a useless cryptographic token and a useless piece of paper if there are people willing to give me things I want for either?

And people bash brave for being bloated.

  • Openboard
  • Quillnote
  • Organic Maps
  • ViMusic - music streaming but after 1st listen songs are cached for offline play.

Edit: Now that I think about it, I use session for taking notes and "syncing" them with my PC. I guess any messaging app with a desktop client would work.

Most of the article talks about the CEO and the company, the only criticisms of the actual product (the browser) is that it's bloated, which is very subjective because one mans bloat is another mans feature and the affiliate link injection scandal from 4 years ago, which definitely shouldn't have been done but at least it wasn't malicious and now is gone.

To be honest I think people on here dislike brave primarily due to ideological reasons, completely ignoring the fact that 99.9% of people aren't hackermans™ and don't want to install gnu icecat or librewolf with 7 different extensions. For those people it's either chrome/edge or brave, the latter, even if not perfect is a way better option both for them and the internet.

Print the hexdump of the file or qr code of the hexdump on paper. I store backups of my password manager db like this just in case there is a solar flare or some other magic bullshit that wipes all my pendrives/sd cards/CDs.

Great post, I was looking for a comparison of nostr and AP because it seemed like basically the same thing to me and your post explained it perfectly. After reading it, I have to agree that nostr is a better solution for the fediverse.

I updated my BIOS few days ago and on reboot got a warning about bitlocker and resetting fTPM, but I'm on linux. I dumped luks headers, and master priv keys before resetting just in case but everything worked as usual. Do you know if I just got lucky or if luks dosn't use TPM? Should I hold on to the luks headers and master priv key backup?

Version 0.34 of unstoppable wallet by horizontal systems. It will add chain switching to walletConnect for dapps that support it.

Undertale?

Yup.

So why would you want to do the same thing again, just to a different race? Two wrongs don't make a right.

Try a different browser or check dns settings in your browser, I don't use firefox so I don't know if it has that setting. You can also use a vpn, it should override your dns settings. Proton vpn is free for the basic tier.

What's wrong with brave?

Code is the law of the blockchain, his transaction wasn't reverted, he got caught irl. It's like saying constitution isn't law because laws of physics don't prevent murder.

Why is the emoji censored?

So nostr?

Is there any benefit to it over nostr though? You'd have to link your public key to your account(s) and store a backup of your private key in addition to your regular login/password just to get a more fragmented and less seamless version of nostr. A lot of people already have issues figuring out how fediverse works with multiple instances and all... now they'd have multiple accounts with different credentials to keep track of on top of a meta login/password (pub/priv key). With nostr you only have 1 login/password (pub/priv key) to everything, it's just long and you can't change it. At least I think that's how it works, I don't really use twitter/nostr/mastodon type of sites.

God forbid an adult of sound mind is allowed to decide what to do with his own body.

Because available spots in colleges are limited in order to give to one group you have to take away from another, it's a zero sum game. I don't know what the right answer is but I know that treating asian kids worse because they are asian isn't one. I also don't belive that kids should suffer for the sins of their grandparents.

Like I said I don't know what the right answer is but I think offering scholarships to talented, hardworking kids who can't afford to pay for school, regardless of race is a better solution than race based preferential treatment.
