The summary just says gun, so I assumed hand gun. it was a rifle.

Applesauce ice cream sounds foul.

Didn’t a conservative family already try living in Russia recently and found out it wasn’t all like a better version of America?

Corporations are finding that the vocal minority is small enough that they can let them complain all they want, and nothing will change. There are now enough users out there that it just doesn't matter what how much we complain online. They just have to wait it out since the silent majority just don't care anymore.

Reddit, Netflix, Spotify, and now Google. It's happening everywhere lately.

I'd say they're accurate.

It's a small but very specific, active minority of the total reddit pie. This is why Reddit won't go away. They have enough of a core audience that doesn't care about how bad the official app or web page may be. It's just good enough for them, which is all they need to scratch their reddit itch.

Seeing growth across a few Lemmy instances over the past few weeks has been fun.

This doesn’t sound like a good idea at all. If a person relies on tips for a livable wage, it should be taxed. If you work for tips, it’s taxable income.

Why is AI scraping not respecting robots.txt? It wasn’t ok early internet days, so why is it ok now? People are complaining about being overloaded by scrapers like it’s the 90’s

Plus gerrymandering.

My chickens say Shannon is full of shit.

This is what Zuckerberg keyed in on early internet days. Tech savvy users understand what is at stake, but to the average user, it gets in the way of using apps that people socialize on. It didn't matter how much preaching I did back in the early days. Eventually people fall in line and do what their friends do.
Nobody cares. I mean, have you seen armature porn? That used to not be a thing on line, once upon a time. Nobody cares anymore apparently, because there's a sense of anonymity in a large enough group.

How much can a banana cost Michael, $1000?

It’s stable for now. My company has been getting people back into the office through several attempts. They haven’t given up, and they made sure to make that clear, just a work in progress.

Anything that relies on mini/micro USB for charging. With enough repeated use, they eventually cause an early failure of the device.

This sounds like a plot to a horror movie. It all starts out with good intent, but pretty soon you notice your AI responses seem a little off. You try to correct it but it in turn corrects you. Your reach out to family and friends but they dislike your ‘new’ tone and are concerned for your sudden change in behavior…

It’s a smoker made with a ceramic outer shell. What you see is the broken pieces of a man’s heart, or the smoker. Unclear from the blurry image.

This is treading on some dangerous waters. Kids need to realize this is way too close to basically creating underage pornography/trafficking.

Undecided to being a racist nazi you mean. I don’t see how a true republican can support such a divisive felony candidate.

I believe Boost is a Kbin thing.

Sex isn’t only PIV. Get that mouth working extra.

This is stupid. Just go full retard already and have machine gun sentries mounted to the ceiling. Problem(s) solved /s

Sweet! What’s mine say?

Yup, that's me. I'm still a little surprised at how easy (thanks Spez) it actually was for being such a heavy consumer of Reddit. Doing Christian wrong like that, as well as the many popular 3rd party apps and their loyal users, just didn't sit right with me. Spez chose the nuclear option, instead of actually working with and potentially helping to grow the site along with 3rd party devs, so this is the resulting fallout. He asked for it, so he got it.

We live in an age where people believe dumb shit of it’s said out loud. And they vote.

We really turned full circle.

Yeah the baby executioner bit was gold.

This should be the next “movement” the internet gets behind. Everyone stops tipping, and watch people freak out.

People are still in the migration process. Talk about Reddit will NOT go away, because it's the elephant in the room and it hasn't gone away.
If you were around for the DIGG migration to Reddit, it's going to be similar. It will take a LONG TIME before you stop seeing Reddit related content here. It's just going to be a little less over time.

I doubt it will ever go away to the level of DIGG, unless Reddit completely implodes, which it won't. Reddit in its current state is still usable for the silent majority of users via desktop or official app, like it or not. DIGG rn is completely useless.

What we can do is support each other, create and share meaningful content here. Migrate your interests, and if it doesn't exist, create it or someone else can. Lemmy growth and interactions have exploded, even over the past week. Give it time, and enjoy the fact that we don't have to worry about Reddit screwing itself at the cost of their users.

I am finding more time IRL now that I've converted to Lemmy. I'm learning a new language as well as learning chess. I think it's because much of the new posts aren't showing up in ALL/Subscribed so I end up consuming much of it faster than Reddit.

It was banned in 1989, but was repealed in 1991 apparently (lazy google). In my area you’re not allowed to build with it and must be removed if found.

Until it gets on your salad

My high ass would burn the house down using this.

Always save first, and name the file.

You’re eating them wrong obviously. Smash it with your fist, pour it out in a neat line, and snort it like you mean business. Bonus points if done in public.
