You need a good change in your idea of philosophy of life and purpose.

While, for someone who doesn't know you, it might look like you are chasing your goals but it shouldn't be that for you. You should be living it. When in life you have challenges and goals, you're still living, but ur a hill upwards ur walking to then fly coming down after reaching the peak.

That chasing is actually your opportunity. That opportunity has a offer to make. Leave it and just walk around the hill and continue on the flat easy surface.

Find that hill, that struggle of your interest. So it doesn't look like chasing. When ur interests are associated with that hill then you can enjoy that process and don't think of escaping it and get away, resting from it.

Meditation are for the people do don't choose the hill of their interest that becomes a chasing.

I hope that's not about any person anymore and everyone is saved now. Now the one thing I'd save will probably be my diary w That has everything from my financial planning to everything i need to do for next 15 years to the passwords of my google and other accounts.

In the last few years, I've realised that there's nothing can matters more than your family and the people close to you (tho my relationship with my family especially my parents/or just my dad has been awful and terribly uncomfortable). It can at a time get to the point where you think that anything would matter more than these guys (ur parents) and although you sometimes feel like what they do for you is just so much and the next day u forget that. But it does get to a state where you're accepting that you're parents are humans, just like you, not superheroes. So it really helps having some empathy and putting yourself in their situations considering their life is no less significant than anyone's including you. sorry for including my traumatic experience and recovery in a fricking simple question's answer

Depends on what method h use for note taking.

If it's not that professionally or for research purposes used then simple note is great.

If it's about research data then obsidian.

Also u will obviously find it difficult to find a good FOSS app for note taking that many of them won't support sync and collaboration.

Sorry for stupid questions and doubts 😭 but you said you don't plan to add any plan, monetization or ads. SO never ever right? I'm willing to donate a hell lot to support the lemmy. So it'll always remain like this innocent, inherently open source and always have the same "our"/ "people's" internet, and never like a platform that is above us like it feels when using Twitter or reddit? (I said stupid question cus idk if having activitypub adopted and being decentralized makes lemmy and other platforms inherently "people's" open-source and free internet?
