After almost 20 years as a Prime subscriber I unsubscribed about a week ago. It was the ads, I put up with a lot of nonsense over the years but the ads were the final insult.

The food is almost always fresh, plenty of customization options like grilled onions and jalapeños. Almost everything on the menu is good quality for fast food. Being open 24 hours is a nice bonus.

If small regional chains count Burger Street is the best, really good burgers, great curly fries and delicious frozen lemonade.

One of my computers has windows on one of the ssds because I have to use windows for work software once every week or so for about 20-30 minutes and there are a few other windows programs that I need to use occasionally.

Basically I use Windows for a couple of hours a month and Linux the rest of the time.

I didn't enjoy it. It seems lime something I would have enjoyed when I was in middle school or high school.

35 grand would fund a lot of the deferred maintenance on my house and get me new energy efficient windows.

55 would get me solar panels to boot.

Like playing a video game with God mode on.

Unfortunately the more things I alter in the dream the more likely I am to wake myself up.

MC Rell is rapper from the late 80s that dropped a pretty good album, very few people have heard of him.

The Lootpack is a 90s hip hop group from LA that was good but for some reason it never caught on, I don't know anyone else who's heard their album.

The older films I like aren't really that obscure, I just don't know any film nerds in real life. I'm a big fan of the Preston Sturges comedy films, film nerds know them but no one I know in real life watches old movies.

Have Gun, Will Travel is one of my favorite western TV shows. It's kind of stuck around but, not like I Love Lucy or The Honeymooners did.

There was a series of b movies about a detective called The Falcon. They were kind of a mix of The Thin Man films and the Sam Spade films.

They were lots of fun to watch but I don't know anyone else who's seen them.

Public torrent sites will only get you so far but you can find a surprising amount of books and audiobooks on them.

I never hear anyone else mention This Life but it's definitely on my short list of best shows ever.

I'm sure it's in music license hell. They had so much great music on the show that helped the tone of the show but would be ludicrously expensive to license for streaming.
