I say they play 18 in Arizona, each carrying their own bag. Hopefully Americans win.

It's because campaigns are about convincing people to show up to vote, not winning undecided voters or opposing voters over. Trump voters are likely more likely to support him after conviction. Biden's true opponent is the couch.

As the ruling said. The chevron defense hadn't been used since 2016, agencies have their opinions overturned or narrowed more recently. Courts were already disagreeing with agencies, and the standard to take their interpretation was just wasting time.

It depends on how they wrote the law, the destructive device rule is fairly good imo as it both covers the things congress wants and anything that is using a different name for the same result and gives the attorney general the ability to exclude things for sporting only.

(4) The term “destructive device” means— (A) any explosive, incendiary, or poison gas— (i) bomb, (ii) grenade, (iii) rocket having a propellant charge of more than four ounces, (iv) missile having an explosive or incendiary charge of more than one-quarter ounce, (v) mine, or (vi) device similar to any of the devices described in the preceding clauses; (B) any type of weapon (other than a shotgun or a shotgun shell which the Attorney General finds is generally recognized as particularly suitable for sporting purposes) by whatever name known which will, or which may be readily converted to, expel a projectile by the action of an explosive or other propellant, and which has any barrel with a bore of more than one-half inch in diameter; and (C) any combination of parts either designed or intended for use in converting any device into any destructive device described in subparagraph (A) or (B) and from which a destructive device may be readily assembled. The term “destructive device” shall not include any device which is neither designed nor redesigned for use as a weapon; any device, although originally designed for use as a weapon, which is redesigned for use as a signaling, pyrotechnic, line throwing, safety, or similar device; surplus ordnance sold, loaned, or given by the Secretary of the Army pursuant to the provisions of section 7684(2), 7685, or 7686 of title 10; or any other device which the Attorney General finds is not likely to be used as a weapon, is an antique, or is a rifle which the owner intends to use solely for sporting, recreational or cultural purposes.

This ruling doesn't stop the ability to delegate. It stops the deference to the executive branch to interpret however they feel. If their interpretation is good, it can stand. Congress doesn't have to say how much heavy metal is acceptable in drinking water, it just has to explicitly say setting a limit is the responsibility of the agency.

Really what needs to happen is removing the 100 year old cap on the size of the house. 800 reps would drastically change both presidential elections and representation of people in general. Using 800 reps puts California at 96 members to Wyoming still having 1.

It's not too late now, but it's absolutely too late in October when Biden needs to appear multiple times per day and across about 5 states. If he can't do that, then he should step down now.

She was incredibly unpopular when she ran in the primary. Her campaign failed well before Biden was the heir apparent.

The new pro-Biden platform is that it was all about a cold making his voice soft. Of course they are going to ignore the actual issues. A real primary would have made things much more obvious, when you had him on stage with some 40 and 50 year old folks.

This wasn't as bad as Carter, but it definitely was bad.

Truth doesn't really matter in a presidential debate, it's not actually a debate. It's all about appearing superior than your opponent.

He's stuck there too, because he promised last election to have a woman of color. He would get attacked even more from his side if he dropped her, and if there was a better candidate that checked the diversity boxes they wouldn't have picked Kamala

Yes. 90% of the time is almost always off topic. Sometimes a candidate spends a whole sentence saying something related, but that's as close to organized as it ever was.

Trump definitely does more personal attacks, but that's about it. I've seen a moderator make a correcting statement once.

Using examples like this to erode rights is how the nazis got public support to become nazis.

If he was going to be that bad the democratic party shouldn't have fought having a real primary.

They absolutely needed to. Biden can't hide behind Covid protocol this time, he needs to be publicly visible far more in this campaign. Also whether it was mutual or not, Trump would use no debates as an attack against Biden.

I'm saying if you say "fuck you rights" to bad people it's easier for the government to fuck everyone's rights

Teachers aren't the only thing that costs money.

While there's some truth to this, there's also a ton of things companies are required to display prominently when lending money. Most people know about the interest rate, but there's a lot of other numbers just as important to understand.

I'm fairly sure they aren't bots, but definitely pro Russia.

It's not funding, plenty of money gets spent on education. It doesn't matter to kids that don't have reinforcement that education matters. Financial literacy specifically isn't going to help, because it's too abstract to students that aren't working jobs, paying rent, and buying their own food.

A full on right to roam is probably a bit extreme, but I could see a minimal right of way being required around public lands.

It wouldn't be very secret if it was published on the internet. It's definitely a credible concern given the level of control China demands of companies operating in the country. The US also essentially has backdoors into most communication, and possibly phones as well, so it's not that crazy for China to also have them.

China is also very aggressive in hacking into companies. Even if they didn't have a custom backdoor, them finding a way in and essentially banning Huawei from fixing it, is another option.

  • Younger generations are less pro Israel.
  • There's a segment of liberals that view any victimized or oppressed group as morally superior regardless of context.
  • Michigan specifically has a very high population of Muslim/middle eastern descent.
  • It's not that sudden, there's been growing criticism and calling Israel an apartheid state for years. The recent escalation in hostilities just made it more newsworthy.

I'd settle for the EU to start enforcement on use of the words buy and purchase. If a game requires online connection or only gives you a license, then they must use the words rent or license at point of sale.

It wouldn't get anywhere in the US. Age is the closest protected class, but only applies to over 40 in the US. Discrimination based on month and day of birth isn't actually illegal.

So far there's no video of what actually happened as far as I know. That means whatever the cops said is almost definitely not the truth.
