No one seemed to learn the lesson of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It doesn't matter what you've done throughout your career. People will remember how you selfishly held on to power.
AFAIK mineral oil and petroleum jelly are considered food safe. In the food industry they are used as lubricant on machinery that comes into contact with food (like meat slicers or even soda machines). Petroleum jelly is also found in a lot of skin care products, like Vasoline, vapo-rub, makeup -removing cream, and is also used in lip balm.
That being said, oil & gas extraction has and is wreaking havoc on our environment and health. So, while these products may be safe for human contact, they have a cost.
It is almost 4000 years old, but this is the first time I have seen it.

However we do have before and after satellite photos of Gaza that show whole refugee camps and neighborhoods reduced to rubble. We also have journalists from many different news outlets, who are in the area giving first hand accounts of the atrocities being committed by the IDF.
I don't know what the autism industry is. I agree that lots of industries use these tactics, while actively poisoning/exposing their customers to toxins. There is a big problem with the baby formula industry using big tobacco tactics to obfuscate facts about premature infants being killed by their products. Johnson and Johnson has also done this with talcum powder.

I HATE the shuffle button on Spotify. It used to be better. I have a Playlist that I used to listen to with the 'enhanced' shuffle. Spotify would add similar songs into the queue. It was nice. Now Spotify just plays the same 20 songs or so, over and over again. My Playlist has over 200 songs without even adding the variety into the queue. I've started actively removing songs because they are all I hear. This isn't how listening to music should work.

My newer Vizio will not default to hdmi. It always brings up the menu, where you have to scroll through a bunch of ads to get to your apps and input options. The apps randomly change order. Sometimes you even get a pop-up ad when you first turn it on. I wish I had never bought the damned TV.
I am currently trying several lemmy apps on android and most videos play in the apps. Some of them even autoplay as you scroll past.
I've noticed the same issue on many posts. I am using the app, liftoff. If I just refresh the page all the missing comments load. I don't know if this works on other apps or in your browser, but it works for me.
